Fluffy Cluckers Poultry and Homestead

A small little homestead offering, incubation services, hatching eggs and upon request chicks. Spring 2022 we will have vegetables seedling for sale.

As well as many other fun new adventures to be added later this spring and summer.

This year at Fluffy Cluckers we will only be offer hatching services, barn yard mix hatching eggs, and barn yard mix chicks will be available upon request and must be picked up no less then 2 days after hatching.

Chicks are $5 each for 10 or less $4 each for 10 or more. A 50% non refundable deposit is required at booking.

Hatching eggs are $20 a dozen. Please contact us for hatching services.

My barn yard group is Orpingtons Silkies, Bantam, Chocin Bantam, Barham, Easter Eggers, Whiting True Blue, RIR and Black Copper Maran.

It may not look like spring but here at Fluffy Cluckers we are thinking spring which means getting veggies start for the garden. This year we are trying some new additions to the garden, which means more plants to start in the same amount of space. We always start extras of everything and sell what we have leftover but with the limited space we were wanting to gauge interest in the following:
Lettuce seedling, iceberg and romaine
Peppers, sweet and hot
Cucumber, pickling and slicing
Pumpkins, pie giants and Jack o lantern
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Onions
Green onions
Beets seedlings
Carrot seedlings
Tomatoes, cherry, Roma, beef stake, and an average size (yet to be determined type)

We were also wondering if there would be interested in a package deal for a basic garden (sweet peppers tomatoes, lettuce carrot seedlings, as well as bean and pea seeds.)

We can't wait to hear you input and thoughts. Let us know if you want to be added to our waitlist for plants. You be the first people contacted when plants are ready to go.

Few more little fluff balls for sale. Purebred white silkies. And mystery breed chicks (came from large blue eggs or darker brown. Brown I think is Maran so they could lay blue or olive or brown I know which chicks came from. What colour egg.) Plus I have a cross beak cuckoo lavender Orpington looking for a special home. All are straight run 2-3 weeks old now.

***** Sold**** can hatch more at anytime just need 3 weeks to hatch them

Anyone need some chicks? Day old to week old Orpingtons and easter egger Orpington crosses. (Came from white and olive eggs). So I guess I can't count 5 Orpingtons and 4 mixes. Molted Orpingtons are $10 each and easter eggers $5. Or take all 8 for $50. More pictures to come.

Also keep any eye open. We will be sharing some of the exciting things we have in the works.

Well my broody hens did better at Incubating then being moms. Not all hens will make good moms and my 2 clearly missed the memo that they have babies in the end. I thankfully was able to get them out quick enough that everyone has pulled through that has hatched. A huge thanks to D&A poultry for the Incubator loan to help give the rest an easier start.

This 3 are 100% pure Orpingtons with 11 more barn yard mixes waiting to hatch yet.

My sister broodies getting set to hatch our first lot of chick from a broody hen. There 20 something eggs under them the white bin full side to side end to end I have no clue what or when they are going to hatch but it should be anytime now.

Not the best timing but you can't stop mother nature. Miss broody is broody again, there was no stopping her. My once nice broody hen barley lets anyone in the coop this time. I did manage to switch out her eggs for Orpington eggs. Today is day 2 for them. I can't wait to have a mama raise her own babies

And we have started pipping. The blue laced red Wyandottes are the first ones showing activity

The Blue Laced Red Wyandotte are a member of the Wyandotte family thathave blue lacing over red feathers which makes for an interesting and beautiful pairing. As well as a reliable egg layer and friendly with humans.

They will produce around 4 large eggs per week and are known to lay even during the winter months.

Wyandottes were created for cold weather climates so perfect for our weather. Just make sure they have shade and fresh water in the summer

They just need the basics of chicken care and they will get along just fine.

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
Beginner Friendly: Yes.
Lifespan: 5+ years.
Weight: Hens (6½lb) Roosters (8½lb).
Color: Blue lacing with red feathers.
Egg Production: 4 per week.
Egg Color: Brown.
Known For Broodiness: No.
Good With Children: Ok.

One of the most beautiful breeds with stunning blue lacing on their feathers.

Hatch number 4 is now in lockdown. Only a few more days untill they hatch.

Little buggers are too fast to get a great picture of them but they are almost 2 weeks old and looking for a new brooder.

They are Olive Eggers or bantam Cochin crosses

$7 each for under 5 chicks
$5 each for 5 or more chicks

They are happy and healthy eating medicated chick fed and handled daily by us and children. Raised in a pet friendly house as well.
