Etobicoke Dog Walks Has proudly served the Etobicoke community for over 10yrs by original founder, Rick. The business begins an exciting new chapter under new ownership by Erika.

She is thrilled to continue his legacy and will ensure that every walk is fun, loving and safe! Etobicoke Dog Walks is excited to offer dog boarding services! – A safe and cozy home-away-from-home experience for your dog while you’re away. Hi! My name is Erika. I've been enjoying dog walking professionally for almost 4 years. The best career change yet! From fostering to doggy sitting to owning dogs of my own, I've been around dogs my whole life. December 1st, 2025 I took over the business and I'm excited to introduce new services! As mentioned, boarding is now available and coming Spring 2026 we'll be taking weekend 2 hour hikes for those with a little extra energy to exert. Current walking services are group walks Monday - Friday to local leash-free parks, with morning and afternoon groups available. Drop-offs are completed before noon or 3 p.m., depending on your group. We welcome one puppy let-out client at a time, with the goal of transitioning them into our group walks. I’m honoured to continue the heart and soul of what Rick built. My goal is to make sure every tail keeps wagging and every owner feels confident their dog is in loving hands. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family member.

🐾 Hi, I’m Erika, the face behind Etobicoke Dog Walks! 🐾

As summer starts winding down and back-to-school is just around the corner, I thought it'd be the perfect time to properly introduce myself! 🥰

In March 2023 I had the privilege of being part of another dog-walking team. In December 2025, I took the exciting step of taking over Etobicoke Dog Walks and starting my own journey with the business! 🐶✨

I’m fun, caring, easygoing, and passionate about making sure every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable and understood. My goal is to create an environment where your dog can build trust with me while having fun and getting the exercise and attention they deserve.

💦 15-Minute Potty Breaks
Perfect for puppies and senior pups that need bathroom breaks during busy workdays.

🌳 1-Hour Off-Leash Group Walks
Fun, structured adventures at local dog parks where dogs can run, explore, socialize and burn off some energy!

🏡 Boarding — A Home Away From Home
A comfortable, clean and caring boarding experience where your dog gets to feel like part of my family rather than simply being left in a kennel.

And the best part? ALL dogs are welcome! ❤️

We don’t think twice about spending $200–$400 a night on a hotel when we’re on vacation. So when it comes to our dogs, the ones who rely completely on us, why not ask: are we giving them the same consideration we give ourselves?

🐶💧 DID YOU KNOW HOW DOGS DRINK WATER?

It looks simple, but there’s actually some fascinating physics happening every time your dog takes a drink! 👅💦

Dogs don’t scoop water with the top of their tongue. Instead, they curl their tongue backward and rapidly pull it out of the water, creating a small column of water that they then snap their jaws around and swallow.

And because dogs can’t completely seal their cheeks like we can, some of that water inevitably ends up flying everywhere. 😂💦

So the next time your pup makes a mess around the water bowl, just remember… they’re not being messy—they’re using some pretty clever biology! 🧠🐾
