Research shows that feeding dogs🐶 blueberries🫐 as treats can support healthier aging by helping reduce oxidative stress, a key driver of cellular damage over time. Blueberries are rich in anthocyanins and polyphenols, compounds linked to improved antioxidant status, brain health, and reduced inflammation in both animal and canine studies. In sled dog and feeding trials, blueberry supplementation🫐 has been shown to increase antioxidant capacity, helping protect cells from damage associated with exercise and aging. Emerging research also suggests these compounds may help defend DNA🧬 from oxidative stress, supporting overall cellular resilience. Interestingly, studies comparing fresh and frozen❄️ blueberries have found that freezing preserves these antioxidants and may even increase their measured availability. This happens because ice crystal formation breaks down cell walls, making anthocyanins easier to release when consumed. Combined with the fact that frozen berries are typically harvested at peak ripeness, they can deliver antioxidant levels equal to or even higher than fresh store-bought berries. Together, the evidence suggests blueberries, especially when fed regularly, are a simple, functional addition that may help support your dog’s long-term health and aging process.

Start with ¼ to ½ tsp per 10lbs of body weight a day.

Repost as I was told many haven’t seen the post.

Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well — I truly miss you and your pups. I’m happy to share that. I haven’t made a public announcement yet, as I’ve been easing back into work slowly, but I wanted to let all of my clients know directly.

With the new year approaching, I will begin accepting more dogs. I am currently working while caring for my son, as we are still waiting for a daycare placement, so my hours will remain somewhat limited. However, I am ready to start accommodating more appointments where possible.

For the quickest response, please reach out to me 📞 by phone call 📞 , as this is the best way to get in touch with me at the moment. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support, and I look forward to reconnecting with you and your dogs soon.

I have appointments left for the 29th and the 30th if anyone is interested.

Stolen from another groomer
I keep seeing people in local groups ask if there are any dog groomers who aren’t “crazy expensive.” And I totally get it. Money and finances are personal and important. But I want to gently reframe that question a bit.
What if instead of asking for a cheap groomer, we started asking if there are groomers who are trained, experienced, and continuing their education?
Because here’s something a lot of pet parents don’t know. Dog grooming is an unregulated industry. That means literally anyone can start grooming without any real training, certification, or knowledge about animal safety. (Isn't that scary?!)
Your dog is a living, breathing animal. One that moves while someone is working on them with sharp tools. Skill matters. Experience matters. Education matters.
There are some incredible groomers out there!
The ones doing it the right way.
They’re getting certified, investing in continued education, and going to trade shows and local classes. Some are even part of the Local Professional Pet Groomers Association, which means they’re holding themselves to a higher standard of care and professionalism.
Prices will always vary based on time, experience, and quality. And that’s okay. But when it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, it’s worth considering more than just the cost.
It’s time we normalize asking things like:
•Are they experienced
•Have they invested in continued education?
•Is their salon clean and calm?
•Do they understand dog behavior and safe handling?
In the long run, choosing the right groomer isn’t about saving money.
It’s about making sure your pet is in the safest hands possible.
Not the cheapest price that may end up at a vet's clinic, Or worse!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am providing this update to inform you about my plans for returning to work, as several individuals have expressed interest in my expected return date. Currently, I am uncertain about my return date and am taking things one step at a time. My initial plan was to resume work in the spring, but this is subject to change. Since my baby will not be attending daycare initially, I will be transitioning to a part-time schedule and limiting the number of dogs I accept per day. Additionally, due to the need to care for my baby between appointments, I will no longer be accepting dogs that require grooming sessions exceeding an hour. Please be aware that the initial period may be a transition phase as I adapt to working with my baby. Eventually, I will establish a routine, and my work will return to almost normal. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. I will post an update of when I plan to return to work. Picture of my little man so we don’t get lost.
