Let’s welcome Sophia Estolas as Hound & Purr’s newest team member!
Sophia has loved animals for as long as she can remember — growing up with 6 dogs taught her early on how special the bond between pets and their people can be. Before grooming, she studied business and pharmacy and even worked in security, but after spending so much time isolated with her dogs during COVID, she realized she wanted a career that truly made her happy. That’s what led her to dog grooming, and she hasn’t looked back since!
She loves grooming dogs of all sizes and personalities, but large breeds definitely hold a special place in her heart. She is also a proud pet parent to her bernadoodle and cat. Her goal is always to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while helping them look and feel their best.

In the dog grooming world, quirky behaviours are considered especially fluffy. The groomers who handle these cases are members of an elite squad… The Paw & Odour Unit. 🐾⚖️

Episode 5: Fed After Midnight
The suspect Bella, was apprehended at 0200 hours on the corner of Suspicious and Adorable. Witnesses report the subject was spotted roaming the street, quote, 'looking like a dog, but emerged from an alleyway looking halfway between a Mogwai and a Gremlin'. Upon further investigation, detectives discovered she had been fed after midnight and exposed to water at the grooming salon. The case was dismissed on the grounds of insufficient evidence. Fourteen witnesses. Fourteen different descriptions. Same suspicious eyes, same pink bandana, but which one was the original? The groomer swore there was only one.
