🐾 Happy Tails Alumni Update: Lina Bean (formerly Capulina)! 🐾❤️
From a very sick little dog in Mexico to a happy, confident girl living her best life in Canada!
Lina's journey began in Mexico, where she survived distemper after arriving seriously ill at a spay and neuter clinic. With the help of rescuers, she made her way to Canada and found her forever family in November 2020!
Nearly six years later, Lina is thriving! ❤️
💬 "When she first arrived, Lina was timid, quiet, and especially wary of strangers. Fast-forward six years, and she's a confident, affectionate, hilarious little character who absolutely loves having visitors over, especially kids.
Lina doesn't really walk anywhere. She trots or runs, even when she's just moving from one room or couch to another. She's a champion snuggler who will repeatedly paw at you if you dare stop petting her, and she's never met a blanket she couldn't rearrange into a perfect little nest.
These days, Lina enjoys walks with her 13-year-old brother Meegz, rolling in the grass, soaking up sunbeams and keeping watch over the neighbourhood from her favourite window. She's even made incredible progress with her reactivity on walks!
