Located in a local and convenient location, we are a professional all breed pet grooming salon with a small retail section. From large to small we groom them all. We strive to provide the highest quality service for you and your pet. As an independently Canadian owned and operated business, we will provide your cherished pet with a clean, warm and loving environment. Our staff is very caring and attentive towards each pet’s welfare from the beginning to the end of their grooming experience. Each and every pet is pampurred from nose to tail in our small yet personable salon. An essential part of providing grooming services is building a personal relationship with clients as well as their four legged family members therefore, our mission is to provide personalized services that never make you feel like just a number. IMPORTANT PRICING UPDATE 🐾
Effective November 1, 2026

To our amazing Pet Spaw family,

Effective November 1, 2026, there will be a 3.5% increase across all grooming services. This adjustment allows us to continue providing the quality, care, time and attention that goes into every pet we groom. 💕

🐾 GROOMING FREQUENCY & PRICING

Regular grooming is an important part of maintaining your pet’s skin and coat health. Pets on a consistent schedule generally require less extensive coat preparation and maintenance.

Going forward, all pets with three months or longer between professional grooming appointments will be subject to an additional grooming charge.

The additional charge will vary based on the length of time between appointments, coat length and density, overall coat condition, matting or impacted undercoat, and the additional time and work required to safely complete the groom.

Even without significant matting, an overgrown coat can require additional bathing, drying, brushing, preparation, clipper/scissor work and precision to achieve the desired finish.

✂️ SPECIALIZED GROOMING APPOINTMENTS

Early-morning, late-day and one-on-one grooming appointments may be available depending on staff availability and the time of year. These specialized appointments are offered at an additional cost. Please contact us in advance for availability and pricing.

The easiest way to maintain a consistent grooming schedule is to pre-book!

Did you know we’re happy to pre-book your appointments for the entire year? This helps keep your pet on the schedule best suited for their coat and gives you a better opportunity to secure your preferred days, times and groomer.

🐾 WHY DO WE HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY? 🐾

We completely understand that life happens. Emergencies come up, plans change, people get sick, and sometimes things are simply out of your control. ❤️

However, as a small appointment-based business, we also have to protect the time that has been specifically reserved for you and your pet.

When you book a grooming appointment, that time is set aside specifically for your pet. When an appointment is cancelled at the last minute or missed altogether, we often don’t have enough time to offer that space to another client — even though we may have other clients waiting for an appointment.

That means an empty appointment isn’t simply an open hour in our day. It’s lost income and time that we reserved specifically for your pet.

So why can’t we make an exception?

Because a cancellation policy can only work if it’s applied consistently and fairly to everyone. While we absolutely understand that every situation is different, making exceptions for one client and not another wouldn’t be fair.

Our cancellation policy is never meant as a punishment. It’s there to protect our groomers’ time, their livelihood, our small business, and the clients who are waiting for appointments.

We truly appreciate every one of our clients who respects our time and gives us as much notice as possible when plans change. Your understanding allows us to continue doing what we love — caring for your pets. 🐾❤️

✨ Let’s Talk About Matting ✨

With spring approaching, many dogs are coming out of winter with coats that have become tangled, overgrown, or matted. Cold weather, sweaters, and longer coats can all contribute to matting during the winter months.

Matting happens when a dog’s coat becomes tangled and tight against the skin. Over time, these tangles twist together and form dense knots that can become very uncomfortable for your pet.

What many people don’t realize is that matting is more than just messy hair — it can actually cause serious problems for dogs.

Matting can:
🐾 Pull tightly on the skin causing pain
🐾 Trap moisture, dirt, and bacteria
🐾 Hide skin infections, wounds, or parasites
🐾 Restrict movement and circulation
🐾 Make grooming much more stressful for your pet

When coats become severely matted, the safest and kindest option is often a short reset groom to remove the matting completely and give the skin and coat a fresh start.

Regular grooming and brushing help prevent this and keep your pup feeling comfortable, healthy, and happy.
