❤️Today was Spay Day for 3 of our girls! ❤️

As they leave their breeding careers behind, these girls are preparing for retirement as cherished family pets.

At Twinkle Havanese, we take great pride in the care we provide our dogs. Retirement care includes spaying, a full dental, and up-to-date titre testing and bloodwork. We want them to need nothing but love and pampering! ❤️

Our girls typically retire at 5-6 years, having earned titles, completed health testing and raised puppies who bring joy to families while supporting the health and genetic diversity of future generations. With Havanese typically living 14-16 years, they have many loving years ahead!

🏡 RETIREMENT HOMES NEEDED

We’ll be seeking homes for 2 girls in the coming weeks. We prefer quieter adult households with a house and fenced yard, ideally without other dogs, although a suitable companion may be fine.

The right personality match comes first. There is a placement fee and a written agreement ensuring their care and return to us if ever needed.

🐾 PERMANENT FOSTER HOMES NEEDED

We’re also seeking families near the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for our breeding dogs.

Young Males: Several boys have recently completed their titles and health testing. They would live as beloved family pets, remaining available to us and their co-owners for occasional breeding. This gives each boy his own family while supporting genetic diversity.

Adult Females: A few of our health-tested, titled girls approaching retirement in the next year or two also need permanent foster homes. They would return to us approximately once a year for 8-9 weeks to have and raise their remaining litter(s), then retire with the families they know and love.

We cover all breeding-related expenses. Many of our dogs already live with foster families and stay with them in retirement.

Our Bear-themed “Y” litter is now 2 weeks old! 🐻

Teddy Bear (M1), Boo Bear (F1), Snuggle Bear (F2), and Care Bear (F3) are all gaining weight nicely, and their eyes are just starting to open. They are also becoming a little more active, wiggling and moving around the whelping box as they begin to explore their surroundings.

Momma Chili has been wonderful with her little ones, giving them plenty of attention and keeping those little bellies full. They have been such a quiet and content litter, and Chili deserves all the credit for taking such good care of them. ❤️

We are looking forward to watching these little Bears grow and develop over the next few weeks as their personalities begin to emerge!

Our little Pebbles and Bambam are growing into quite the adorable pair! 🩷💙

These two are such pudgy little babies, and Momma Kahuna has certainly been keeping them well fed! They are now up on their wobbly little legs, beginning to play with each other and showing more interest in their soft toys.

It's been so much fun watching our “X” litter become more active and curious about the world around them. This week, they'll be moving into the big puppy pen, where they'll have plenty of room to explore, play, and continue developing their new skills. We can't wait to see what they get up to with all that extra space!

We have another beautiful Fall litter to introduce! 🍂

Our sweet Chili has welcomed four adorable little puppies! Momma and babies are all doing well, and Chili is happily tucked in with her little ones, keeping everyone well fed and content. 🩷🩷💙🩷

This litter is extra special because it marks Bear’s very first litter! We are so excited to see his babies arrive, and of course, we couldn’t resist giving them a Bear theme of their own. 🐻

✈️ Oh, the Places Belle Will Go! ✈️

At 13½ years old, Belle has moved to Europe and is certainly living her best life!

Travelling with her bestie, she has already been sightseeing in Paris and London, with stops at the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the London Eye. This girl gets to travel more than most of us!

We focus on building strong foundations through early potty and crate training. We also establish gentle sleep routines that help them settle comfortably through the night. Socialization begins early to support their growth into joyful, well-adjusted companions. Each puppy comes from thoroughly health-tested and titled parents, selected not only for their achievements but for their sweet nature and sound structure.

The pups of our Cool Treats-themed “W” litter are growing up! 🍧❤️

Popsicle (M1), Fudgesicle (M2), Creamsicle (M3), Slushie (F1), and Freeze (F2) are now 8 weeks old and are becoming more confident, curious, and playful every day. 🐾

At this age, there is never a dull moment with five busy Havanese puppies! They spend their days playing, wrestling, chasing toys, enjoying their meals, and then crashing for a well-earned nap. They are getting much more coordinated and independent, and their little personalities are becoming easier to see with each passing week.

They still have a couple more weeks here at home before they head off to their forever families, so we’re soaking up all the puppy kisses and enjoying this sweet stage with our “W” litter. 🍧❤️

Filet (F1), Angus (M1), Ribeye (M2), T-Bone (M3), and Wagyu (M4) are now 9.5 weeks old and beginning to leave the nest to join their forever families. These are their final photos before they head off on their new adventures. 🐾

It’s hard to believe how quickly these five have grown! We have loved watching their personalities develop, and we’re so excited to see what the future holds for each of them. ❤️
