2 Blondes Dogwear Hand made custom waterproof dog coats, designed to fit any dog and to help your dog face any weather. They make great gifts for your friend's and family's dogs.

I've been making human clothing for many years, and when I got my first ShihTzu mix, I wasn't able to find a coat that was good for her long, low to the ground body type and as she was white and beige, it was really an issue to keep her clean. I tried different waterproof fabrics but settled on a light-weight vinyl with fleece or flannel lining for fall and spring, and double fleece for winter. Al

l the coats just wipe off with a damp cloth, and if they're really dirty they can be handwashed (no machine washing). My dog's coats lasted over eight years, so they are very durable. As they are made individually from your dog's measurements, it will fit very well. I don't even need to meet your dog, if measurements are given to me, I can mail the finished item to you. My prices start at $20 for XS up to $40 plus for larger dogs. Small/Medium is $30. Measurements I need are:
Neck: Size around the collar
Length: Measure from the collar to the beginning of the dog's tail. Girth: Measure around the dog's belly close to the front legs
Male or Female: I make narrower belly band for males.

Fall is raincoat season so if anyone needs a custom coat for a small or medium dog let me know. I will be designing some fleece coats closer to Christmas, so I'll post some samples of fabric choices.

I'm sure the dogs out there weren't happy to go potty today. I make raincoats with lighter fabric inside the vinyl shell, so it's comfortable in the warm weather. Let me know if your dog needs a custom made coat, if you have an old vinyl human raincoat, I can reuse it.

Still very sad after losing my sweet Suki, but I'm going to be making and donating small coats for the rescue dogs at Pomeranian and Small Breed Rescue in her memory.
