Meet Hairy Winston 🩵✨

This gorgeous, squishy-faced gentleman was in with us for a dental cleaning and some extractions — and he absolutely stole our hearts with his curly whiskers and beautiful face 🤍

With faces like Winston’s (hello Exotic Shorthair cuteness 😍), dental care can be a little more challenging. That adorable flat face can make positioning for dental X-rays trickier — but our RVTs always find a way 💪🦷 because getting those X-rays is SO important for a full picture of what’s happening below the gumline.

🦷 Why dental X-rays matter:
• They let us see hidden disease (like root infections or resorptive lesions)
• Help guide which teeth need to be extracted
• Ensure we’re not missing anything painful beneath the surface

Winston did need some extractions, but like most cats, he’ll feel SO much better now that those painful teeth are gone 💙 Cats are amazing at hiding dental pain — so even when they seem “fine,” they could be dealing with a lot of discomfort.

And let’s be honest… he was the bravest (and cutest) patient the whole time 🥹

Meet Sora 🖤🤍

This little fluff was in for his neuter — and safe to say he completely stole our hearts (as always) 🥹✨ Just look at that face!!

Neutering isn’t just about preventing unwanted litters — it has so many important health and behavioural benefits for our pups 🐶💙

Meet Sir Charles 👑🐾

This tiny king was in with us for his puppy vaccines, and let’s just say… he completely stole our hearts (and the spotlight) 🥹✨

Puppy visits are so important to set them up for a lifetime of health — and Sir Charles was the perfect little patient 💙

Here’s what puppy vaccines help protect against:

This handsome boy was in with us for a dental cleaning with extractions and he was such a good patient from start to finish 🥹✨

Dental procedures are so important for our pets — even when their teeth look okay on the surface, there can be a lot happening below the gumline 🐶💙

Here’s what Hank’s dental included:

This sweet girl was in with us for her laparoscopic spay, and she did absolutely amazing ✨🐾

A lap spay is a minimally invasive procedure that uses small incisions and a camera, making it a gentler option for our patients 💙

Lumps around the eye can be common, especially as pets get older, and while many are benign, they can still cause irritation, rubbing, discharge, or discomfort — which is why removal is often recommended 👁️💙

Here’s what Luna’s procedure involved:

👁️ Careful assessment of the mass
👁️ Precise surgical removal to protect the delicate eye area
👁️ Minimizing irritation and preventing further growth
👁️ Sending the mass for testing (if indicated)

The eye is such a sensitive area, so these procedures require extra precision and gentle handling — something Luna made easy by being the best patient 🫶

Meet Lumi 🌟🐾

This beautiful girl was in for her 3rd kitten vaccines — including rabies + FVRCP — and she did amazing 💉💛

Kitten vaccines are such an important part of setting them up for a healthy life, and they’re given in a series to build strong immunity 🐱✨

Here’s what that looks like:

💉 8 weeks – First FVRCP vaccine
💉 12 weeks – Booster FVRCP
💉 16 weeks – Final FVRCP + Rabies

These vaccines help protect against serious (and preventable!) diseases like:
• Feline viral rhinotracheitis
• Calicivirus
• Panleukopenia
• Rabies

Even indoor kitties need vaccines — viruses can be brought in on clothing, shoes, or other pets 🏡

Lumi handled her visit like a total pro and made everyone fall in love with her along the way 🥹💛
