Midtown Mobile Veterinary Hospice Services is an in-home veterinary practice that focuses on ill and aging pets. Geriatric consultations, palliative care and/or hospice consultations will all begin with a review of your pet’s medical history followed by a discussion of your pet’s current condition or illness. A physical examination and detailed evaluation will allow our veterinarians to determine

whether or not your pet may be in pain. In-home consultations allow proper observation of your pet in their normal environment allowing identification of any areas of concern. We will discuss your pet’s nutritional and hydration needs, quality of life, pain management and much, much more. An in-depth conversation regarding your concerns, fears, needs, and goals regarding the condition of your pet including frank discussions about end-of-life/euthanasia, where appropriate, will also occur. Within a few days you will receive a personalized plan with information on the care of your pet. All of the information shared during the consultation will be included in your personalized plan, as well as information and action plans to help ensure your pet does not suffer during his or her last weeks or days at home. Our vets can also work with your regular veterinarian to set up in-home care for treatments they have recommended. If you are having feelings of guilt about euthanizing your pet or you are not sure if this is the right time to do it, an end-of-life/euthanasia consultation with our vets may help make this heart-wrenching decision easier. She will discuss several ways to determine your pet’s quality of life. Your pet trusts and relies on you to decide what is best for them. So together, we will evaluate your own needs and concerns and those of your pet. Discussions about the way you may want your pet to pass will be discussed and your desires for marking or memorializing your pet exactly the way you want will be planned. Although these are very difficult and emotionally charged discussions, owners will often cope better with the loss of their pet if they have prepared for it through these discussions.

Caro Malcolm, 17 years I was blessed with you in my life. 8 moves we made all over the city together. Mio bambino, angelino, patatino, bubba. You've had a vibrant character since you were a kitten. You always knew when extra love was needed, would do you best to purr any pain away. I miss your operas, about a cat who never gets fed enough. I miss your drools of joy. I hope there are neverending sunbeams, rainbows and shrimp for you were you are now.

🧡 🌈 🐾 In loving memory of Chavi🧡 🌈 🐾

Chavi crossed the rainbow bridge today, peacefully and surrounded by the people who loved her most.

She was one of the smartest, most loyal dogs I have ever known. When her brother Chorri left us in 2018, it was Chavi who said goodbye first, quietly, gently, and lovingly.

Chavi loved deeply, though never all at once. In her own time, and in her own way, she gave her heart to Chorri, to Charlie, to her humans, and to her circle of doggie cousins and friends. We understood this about her. Her first year of life had been marked by a lack of love care. And yet, despite that difficult beginning, Chavi blossomed. She became a true city girl, enjoying subway rides, cool air on warm days, and regular spa appointments.

Chavi, we will miss your smile, your warmth, and most of all, your kisses.

Now you can run free again, cuddling with Chorri, racing through open fields, chasing your orange ball or your pink piggy. Feel the wind, the rivers, the rain, the sun.

We will love you always.

To my sweetest baby girl Tifa:

You came home in a big cardboard box, so small that you fit in the palms of my hands. I am so thankful to have received your love and cuddles for 17 years. I know that you are now in kitty heaven playing with your tail under the door, sunbathing on your patio cushion, with a freshly laundered luxury blanket to sleep on for every nap, a newly opened rabbit paté for dinner and Catit on tap. You will be missed by everyone who met you, and especially by your mom.

🧡 🌈 🐾 In loving memory of Quinn🧡 🌈 🐾

Born on September 27, 2011, Quinn came home at 8 weeks old. He was instantly the light of our lives. He loved eating (especially his puppy picnics with his grandpa), playing in the snow, and making us chase him around the house while he played “keep away” with a stuffed animal.

Quinn crossed the rainbow bridge on April 24, 2026. I know all his buddies - Hankie, Nelly, Peeka, and Cooper- are all waiting for him. Run free, little buddy. Mum & Dad will never, ever forget you. We love you forever.

In memory of my sweet soulmate Charlotte. Almost 11 years ago, my broken heart led me directly to hers, and over time, we both learned how to love again. My heart is shattered, but I know she is at peace. Thank you so much Midtown Mobile for making the goodbye so gentle and peaceful. Rest easy my beautiful girl.

🧡 🌈 🐾 In loving memory of Roxy🧡 🌈 🐾

14 years of loving Roxy has been the greatest joy I’ve ever experienced. Roxy was truly the sweetest soul. She had a gentle, loving nature and brought so much warmth and joy into my life and the lives of others every single day. I loved her more than words can ever fully capture, and I always will. She had the most special little quirks like her tongue sticking out just because that made her so uniquely her and impossible not to smile at. Even in her final days, she still found joy in her routine, eagerly waiting for her favourite treat each morning, and happily going outside to run and bark, just like she always had. Those moments made her so special and made loving her so easy.

Losing her has been incredibly hard, but I feel so grateful for all the years I had with her- years filled with unconditional love, loyalty, and companionship that I will carry with me forever. She wasn’t just a pet, she was family, and a piece of my heart and soul will always belong to her.

We love you so much, Roxy ❤️
