Happy Trails Dog Service Janice and Happy Trails Dog Service - offering loving home boarding for Toronto dogs and out-of-the- I am a writer, editor, and visual artist.

I started Happy Trails as a way of enjoying and sharing my love for dogs and hiking. For the past forty years, dogs have been part of our family. I've cared for young pups, adolescent and adult dogs, as well as old folk. I feel the joys of their companionship, and I seek to understand how they see the world as we go about. It's inspiring how the past links into and feeds the present. My background

in child psychology and psychotherapy (as a student and professional), my own strength training work and twenty years as a strength/conditioning coach, and my involvement in the motivational field (health and fitness) - all serve well in my present pursuit with dogs. I am the mother of two fine daughters (now adults) and I've had a lifelong love affair with the arts. To all my endeavors I bring my profound pleasure in discovery and my love of sharing.
