K9 Academy Professional Dog Training, Behaviour Modification During a typical 10km hike, we will work with your dog on their recall, obedience, social manners and more.

K9 Expeditions specializes in exercising sporting breeds such as German Shorthaired Pointers, Vizslas, Weimaraners and other highly active dogs. We provide structured 3-4 hour hikes outside of the city of Toronto, picking your dog up in the morning and delivering him or her home in the late afternoon. Your dog will be in the care of human hiking leaders who are experienced in working with sporting breeds and who love active dogs.

Rehearsing panic:

Does your dog do this often? They are fearful and they either try to run or react, but you can’t stop them or don’t know how?

One of the things people do wrong is that they reinforce or talk to the dog while the dog is in a state of panic when realistically, you need to snap the dog out of it and get the dog away from there and out of that state of mind as fast as possible

The Rottweiler problem we see constantly: people treat them like a pet first and a working breed second. That backwards. Rotts carry serious drive, guarding instinct, and intensity that needs to be channeled and controlled.
