Flights - Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis FLIGHTS facilitates the adoption of retired International Greyhounds and Salukis in Canada.

FLIGHTS – Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis was established in 2015 as a volunteer based, not-for-profit organization located in Ontario, Canada. As an organization, we endeavor to support are partner groups at all levels. We provide post-adoptive support for Internationally retired greyhounds, Middle Eastern salukis and saluki mixes that FLIGHTS brings into Canada.

We promote responsible adoption through education, speaking engagements, sighthound community work. Our mission has evolved, with adding Salukis and Australian greyhounds, we are now FLIGHTS – Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis.

Bertie is still in foster care and looking for his forever home, lets please Like and Share this handsome man. Bertie is small dog and cat safe but does need another canine companion in his forever home.

How can we resist the smiles from Bertie.

✨ Meet Bertie ✨

Bertie came into foster needing a little extra support, and over time he’s made it pretty clear what he needs to feel safe and happy. His ideal home will have at least one other canine companion to keep him company.

He is small dog safe and cat safe. He also has a short tail from an old injury, which we think only adds to his charm.

Bertie is looking for a quiet home without young children. He can be shy and nervous around new people, so he’ll need someone patient who is happy to let him settle in at his own pace. A securely fenced yard would also be ideal.

Once Bertie feels comfortable, his playful side really starts to come out. He’s affectionate, goofy, loves getting into harmless shenanigans with the other hounds and is already an expert roacher. ❤️

Bertie just needs the right home to help him feel safe enough to be himself.

Tallie certainly had us all fooled 🤣 😂

Although her assessment from Australia was accurate from a kennel environment, being in a home setting and given the time to settle and decompress, we are seeing an absolute spitfire!

She is smart and curious, her tail never stops wagging, she gets along well with all the Greyhounds and Salukis and if we do say, smitten with Lazslo. 🥰

She has had us laughing and giggling at her silly antics, aside from the tail wagging all the time, that little roman nose smiles every chance she gets.

The delight in empting the toy boxes and collecting everything on her bed is top on her list of daily activities.

She has turned into such a character, her forever family is going to have years of silly antics and laughs.

🐾💕 LET’S MEET CRISTALLE, Nickname Tallie! 💕🐾

If you’re looking for **petit**, boy oh boy, have we got the hound for you! 😍

This adorable little lady tips the scales at a whopping 48 lbs!
Yes, you read that right… a whole 48 lbs! And to top it off, she has the sweetest, ever-so-slight Roman nose. 🥰

Tallie has the most adorable satellite ears and is quite the toy aficionado! Give her access to a toy box and she will happily empty every single toy from it. 😂🧸

She loves to sneak up on you with a wagging tail and deliver the sweetest, very gentle little kiss. 💋❤️

Tallie has an amazing appetite and is doing a stellar job with her potty training, stairs, and alone training. She has also been travelling well and did absolutely super at her very first vet visit. 🩺🐾

When it comes to other dogs, Tallie is happy to play, but she **doesn’t appreciate overly excited dogs or dogs getting right into her face**.
She has been doing well in her foster home with both greyhounds and salukis.

Although she can be a little shy and timid at first, it doesn’t take her long to become comfortable. Don’t let her fool you—she is smart, curious, and has a cheeky, mischievous side!

She will thrive in a quieter home with positive encouragement, patience, and gentle training.

While she can be hesitant in new surroundings, her curiosity quickly takes over, and that little greyhound personality starts to shine through. ✨

Tallie would do well as an only dog or with a calm, relaxed canine companion who will give her the space and confidence she needs. **No small children for Tallie, please.**

We are so excited to watch this little girl unfold throughout her foster period. We have a feeling she is going to blossom into quite the little character!🌸🐾❤️

Update from Summer's foster home.

Summer is doing really well! She’s a very friendly girl and has been settling in nicely. She’s doing great with our kids and is getting along really well with the other hounds in the house on top of that, she’s doing really good with Hunter our small white lhasa apso summer really enjoys being outside and seems very happy exploring the yard. She’s eating well.
Summer absolutely loves cuddles very soft girl. She is still trying to master the five steps leading into the backyard then we can move onto the big staircase in the house.

Summer is in foster care for 2 weeks. We will continue to update her bio and profile.

What we can say about King is that he is a shy boy and will require another larger canine companion in the home.
