Introducing Dr.Revilla 🐾
The veterinarians, technicians and support staff at Woodbine Animal Clinic are so excited and proud to introduce our new veterinarian, Dr. Fernando Revilla.
You may recognize him - he's been working as a technician while working to earn his Canadian license. He's in the final stages of the process for a full license. Our veterinarians will be there to support and guide him every step of the way.
Here is a note from Dr. Revilla about his journey:
Originally from Mexico, I grew up in a small town where my father taught me to love and respect animals. From an early age, I was surrounded by cows, sheep, goats, horses, birds, cats, and dogs. As I grew up, I always pitched in to help my father care for both our family pets and livestock.
Later on, I took my passion for animals to the next level. I graduated with honors from the University of Guadalajara, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics.
I joined the team at Woodbine Animal Clinic in 2023, initially bringing my dedication to customer service and animal wellness to my role as a technician. Having recently passed the board exams, I'm thrilled to officially step into the role as veterinarian. What I love most about my job is spending my days caring for the neighborhood's pets and helping them feel their best.
