What is my goal in training?
It’s not too teach “commands”. It’s not to teach your dog to always be in a competitive heel. It’s not to teach your dog to enjoy the dog park.
It’s actually to teach you to better understand your dog and their individual needs. It’s to build trust between your dog and yourself. It’s to teach you to be the best version of human to your dog.
By this, you’ll find that you won’t need to “command” your dog into a heel, come or stay. But rather your dog will WANT to work with you and you will unlock the true value of cooperative care. This way, you’ll be able to unleash your dogs true potential.
