This 28 gallon aquarium was built from the ground up, featuring custom glasswork, a fully integrated all in one (AIO) filtration system, and a custom designed filtration caddy for a clean, organized setup.

From the silicone seams to the filtration compartments, every detail was carefully planned and fabricated in house.

New tank in the works! This 36" × 12" × 15" custom aquarium is approximately 28 gallons and is built with 10 mm glass for a solid, refined finish.

Every detail counts no matter the size, from the glass alignment to the silicone work and final corner cleanup!

Siliconing the internal panels of a custom sump is all about joint preparation, bead consistency, and proper tooling.

Each baffle is positioned to maintain the correct spacing and water level, then secured before silicone is applied along both sides of the joint. We try to use a continuous bead when possible with full contact between the glass surfaces, then tool the silicone to remove air pockets and create a consistent fillet along the seam.

Clean glass, proper panel alignment, adequate silicone coverage, and sufficient cure time are critical for long-term durability, especially around high-flow areas and internal baffles.

Every seam on this custom sump is carefully applied and tooled to create a clean finish and a strong, consistent bond between the glass panels.

The sump may sit underneath the aquarium, but the craftsmanship should never be hidden 👌

The tank is built, and now the cabinetry is starting to bring the whole setup together.

This stage is all about fitting, aligning, and installing each panel around the aquarium before the final details are completed.

Still a work in progress, but you can already see the finished look starting to take shape.

For this custom build, we’re using aluminum to create a strong, lightweight structure that gives the canopy a clean foundation without unnecessary bulk.

But this is only the beginning.

Once the frame is complete, it’ll be wrapped in beautiful custom cabinetry designed to give the entire setup a seamless, high-end finish.

From the structure underneath to the final details you actually see, every part is being built to work together.
