We're so sad to share we had to say goodbye to Killer this week. We miss your snuggles, your purrs, and your ability to keep things on track with meal times. After over 15 years in our family, it's feeling so quiet at home without you.

You were with us for 13 years, 2 months, 1 day. It just wasn’t enough time. We had so many more things planned for you, but you let us know this week that it just wasn’t meant to be. 

Thank you for loving and trusting us, no matter how many mistakes we made.
Thank you for being the absolute best big brother to your pug siblings. 
Thank you for being absolutely imperfect and all the lessons you taught us along the way. 

We will miss your snuggles, your excitement to get out with us, your tail wagging run to meet us, your sweetness, your willingness to try so hard for us, and your need for a routine.

You were so deeply loved, and this heartbreak is felt so much by our whole household.

This weekend, you got solo trips out for dinner (and had an assortment of delicious food from our table), got to your favourite place ever (the Island) for one last walk, went for one last dip in Lake Ontario, and finally got to have a cone and chicken nuggies, followed by your absolute fave, pineapple.

We’re so grateful you were so brave for us this weekend, and for these memories we will keep of a great weekend focused all on you.
