It’s National Sunscreen Day!

While you're out soaking up the sun with your furry sidekick, remember: pets can get sunburned too, especially those with light skin or thin fur!

- Use pet-safe sunscreen (not your coconut-scented human one!)
- Protect ears, bellies, and noses—prime burn zones!
- Offer shady spots and fresh water on repeat

Are you not sure which sunscreen is safe for pets? Ask us! We’re always here to help keep your four-legged friends both happy and healthy.

From all of us at Roncy Village Vet Clinic, we’re wishing our amazing clients (and their humans) a happy sunny day!

How many cats can fit in the same carrier? 3, according to Gingerbread, Guimauve & Sweetpea! They were all visiting together and aren’t best buddies at home, but at the vet they become inseparable! 😂 Guimauve & Sweetpea were here for exams & vaccines, while senior Gingerbread has lost some weight so is getting her semi-annual exam & labwork. Dr Mark is checking her thyroid in the pictures, since hyperthyroidism is a common (but easily treatable) cause of weight loss in older cats. 🐾
