A little look at a day at KYON 🐶❤️

Our days are a mix of supervised play, four neighbourhood walks, sniffing, exploring, relaxing, and lots of social time with friends. We carefully match dogs based on temperament and energy level for their walks, so each one can enjoy daycare in a way that suits them.

We love the social aspect of dog daycare — especially for dogs who would otherwise spend the day home alone. And unlike a busy dog park, our playgroups are structured, supervised, and safe.

Just a happy, active, social day for your dog while you’re busy. 🐾

Making friends, getting outside, and having a whole lot of fun. 🐶❤️

At KYON, daycare is a full day of socialization, play and enrichment — with supervised indoor play, outdoor walks, sniffing, exploring, and plenty of time to recharge.

Our dogs get to see familiar faces, build friendships, and enjoy the kind of social interaction they simply don’t get from spending the day at home alone.

And for our walks, we thoughtfully pair dogs based on temperament and energy level so they can enjoy the neighbourhood at a comfortable pace. 🌿

Just another happy day at our Leaside dog daycare. 🐾

As we head into the cooler months, the sunshine feels even more special ☀️🐾

At KYON, our dogs get four full outdoor walks every day, of 15–20 minutes each, exploring the safe, quiet streets around our Leaside neighbourhood.

This is also a great way to keep some familiarity in their routine while they’re with us. They get to sniff, explore, stretch their legs, and experience the neighbourhood rather than spending their entire day indoors.

And the fun part? Our walks are thoughtfully planned before the day even begins. Dogs are matched not only by size, but more importantly by temperament and energy level. Social butterflies get to walk with their friends, while slower, older, or more relaxed dogs are paired with companions who enjoy a similar pace.

It’s all part of creating a smoother day for everyone — because good dog daycare isn’t just about keeping dogs busy. It’s about understanding who they are, what they need, and which dogs they genuinely enjoy spending time with. 🐶
