It's almost Thanksgiving! Please note that our clinic will be closed on Monday, October 12th for the holiday. We will re-open at 8 am on Tuesday, October 13th.

If you need food or medications ordered before the long weekend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Today is World Rabies Day! Today we raise awareness about Rabies and how to prevent it.

Thankfully, we are able to vaccinate our pets against Rabies in order to protect them. Cats and dogs are most likely to be exposed to Rabies through contact with bats, however all other mammals (like raccoons) can carry Rabies.

Unfortunately there is no treatment for this fatal disease. If a pet contracts Rabies, they can also pass it to their humans. Because of this, all pets are required by law to be vaccinated against Rabies.

Billie came in for a check up and decided that our cabinet above the sink was just the right place to relax once we were finished. You've got to love cats! 🐈

We've got treats!

Open house update: we've got some gift bags of goodies for dogs and cats all ready! Available during our open house until we run out. Either way, we'll give you a tour and some tasty treats from other local businesses, while we show off our independently owned clinic.

Thursday cuteness! Sully came to visit us today for a check up. He was one tired puppy (in between playing with toys). This handsome boy has some big ears (and paws) to grow into!

It's apple season! Apples can be a tasty, low calorie treat for your dog (or cat)!

To prepare them so they are safe:
1. Wash them to remove any dirt or pesticides.
2. Remove the core and seeds (they contain toxins and are a risk for choking/intestinal blockage).
3. Do not add spices, sugars, or sweeteners (like xylitol)- only give fresh plain slices of apple.
4. Enjoy in moderation- too many apples can upset your pet's stomach.
