🐾 MAMMARY TUMORS: UNDERSTANDING THE INDICATORS 🐶🐱

Are you aware that mammary tumors are frequently observed in female dogs and cats?

🔎 Please be vigilant for the following:
• The appearance of new lumps or bumps in the vicinity of the ni***es.
• Swelling or alterations in the skin's texture.
• Redness, irritation, or any discharge.
• Lumps that exhibit growth or changes in their characteristics.

🩷 There is encouraging news! Prevention can commence at an early stage.

Having your pet spayed prior to their initial heat cycle can significantly diminish their susceptibility to developing mammary tumors. While spaying at a later time can still offer health advantages, early spaying provides the most substantial protection.

👋 We encourage you to regularly examine your pet!
Gently palpate their mammary glands for any novel or unusual lumps. Should you discover anything of concern, please schedule an appointment with your veterinarian, as early detection is crucial.

🐶🐱 Your beloved pet cannot communicate when they are experiencing discomfort. We recommend incorporating these checks into their routine!

VERY important to keep in mind👇👇

🔥 Avoid Strenuous Activity: Don't exercise your pet in hot weather (especially the short-snouted breeds as they are prone to overheating!). Look out for excessive panting, lethargy, or drooling. If you notice these signs, move your pet to a cooler area right away.

🌊 Stay Hydrated & Shaded: Always carry a portable water bowl to keep your pets refreshed during outings and make sure there’s a shaded spot for your pets to escape the sun’s intense rays.

🚗 Never Leave Pets in Cars: Even for a short time and even with AC on, cars can heat up dangerously fast. Leave your best bud in a safe, cool spot to avoid the risk!

🐾 Protect Those Paws: If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! Choose grassy paths to avoid pavements that could burn your pet’s feet, or consider using paw-safe booties.
