This decision did not come easy, but ZUMI. will be going on hiatus.

Of course, there are many factors to a decision as big as this. Some of which, include the current supply chain issues that are straining many small businesses right now, others, which are more personal.

We greatly appreciate the community we have built here that share our mission and vision to and truly understand and live with us.

Our website will remain in place for those who enjoy reading and gathering information from our blog and for when our store is able to begin normal operations again. The same will go for our social media outlets, however, we may be more quiet in these spaces for a bit.

And remember, while we may have started to return to some form of normality, the pandemic is far from over for small businesses who are now facing the aftermath of the past 2 years. So please don't forget to shop small when you can.

𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 ☃️

The holiday season is full of positive energy and those feelings of happiness and optimism come rather easily during this time of year. But the truth is, when we practice positivity and optimism, we create a happier life. Life is all about how you view it.

The holiday season can definitely help us practice this as we're surrounded by family, friends and festivities.

Ways you can practice...

❄️ Practice gratitude: There is always something to be grateful for, even if you've found yourself passing through a time of struggle. Dogs are so good at this we actually wrote a whole blog about it! From fresh air, to food in the bowl (or on the table rather)... dogs are grateful for every little thing. ❄️ Laugh: Taking things too seriously should be a crime. Laughing immediately brings a smile to your face, relaxes you and helps you think more positively. We don't know about you... but our dogs are an endless source of laughter. Don't forget to thank them every now and then for bringing your blood pressure down.

❄️ Embrace the unexpected: Life doesn't always go according to plan (especially during the holidays). Going with the flow can help all that self-created stress melt away. You can experiment with your dog - break their routine one day, what do they do? They go with it! Not just that, but happily, because whatever they get to do with you is always a welcomed adventure.

❄️ Surround yourself with positive people: You'd be surprised just how greatly the mood of those around you affect your own mood. Spend time with people who look for those silver linings, love a good belly laugh and inspire you. Or dogs. Hang out with all the dogs.

Embrace the holiday spirit regardless of how you celebrate or don't celebrate cause a little positivity goes a long way for you and everything around you!
