Welcome ! Are you looking for a place for your dog to have a fun filled adventurous walk ? The West Coast abounds with Nature that offers the perfect backdrop for walks and play spaces.
My name is Susan and I have been part of the the Tofino Community for 16 years. As a kid I was blessed to be around show and field dogs who were part of our family. I have pretty much had a dog in my life ever since.
It was a local that approached me about starting a dog walking endeavour. Why ? Simply put, I have been doing it for years out here for friends and their bed and breakfast guests. For me it is more of a lifestyle than an occupation ! What better occupation to have than to be able to spend my day or part of it with a loving, curious four legged creature. It's always a new adventure and a day of exploration which equals fun and exercise. Treats as well of course (grain free) !
It is our intension to release tensions. Whether you are at work, surfing, needed for a late meeting, off to Port Alberni for the day or on one of the many excursions offered out here on the West Coast. WALK ON THE WILDSIDE is here to support and offer you peace of mind while you attend to life's other adventures. We, however will be out playing and having fun. A tired dog is a happy dog. We recommended one-on-one walks that can often be a better fit for some dogs due to their age, medical condition or their temperament. It would be our privilege to spend time with your pet. No greater gift than a happy dog which equals a happy owner ! Win, win investment !
We have a dog friendly van for easy pick up and drop off. Hourly, daily and trip excursion rates available. We are ready to go from dawn till dusk.
