We have a black dot!

Fame for Tatum aka Tatum (Dash Ta Fame x Holland Ease daughter) was bred to the wildly talented Blazin Sugar Daddy - chilled, first try, and a gorgeous black dot! You can't see it on the screen, but I'm sure it's a yellow filly! (healthy is best, but healthy, yellow, and filly is better haha)

This baby will be my keeper - next year we plan to flush some embryo's from her - but for now I'm excited about what this little black dot will become!

I am SO excited about this cross!!

Next year our mare Fame For Tatum (Dash Ta Fame x Holland Ease) will be bred to Blazin Sugar Daddy (Blazin Jetolena x Frenchman’s Falcon) for what is sure to be an incredible cross!!

We hope to do a successful ET and let Tatum carry one, so there will be one of these babies available for sale, the other will be staying with me 😉

The deep freeze is coming next week! Thank goodness for heat - those who wanted their horse's on flex board, your ponies will be enjoying the cozy nights in the barn while the wind is howling at -30 and colder out there!

We have heat! The wait is over, yay!

A few housekeeping rules for the season - we are trying to stay as efficient as possible, gas prices are quite high!

1. Please do NOT adjust the thermostat. It is set for the horses comfort, not ours, but trust me, +5 feels balmy when it’s -25 out!

2. Keep all doors closed at all times! Even if you’re just running out to grab your horse and will be right back, close it behind you and re-open it when you come back with your horse. Filling a water bucket? Close the door behind you while it fills please. I know this is annoying but so are gas prices 😅

3. Only use the big sliding door for horses, all people can go through the man door.

Steve's been building these in the shop, I can't wait for all the ponies to have nice new shelters. Now... what color to paint them?!

We are so excited to welcome Fame For Tatum (Dash Ta Fame x Cant Hardly Wait by Holland Ease) to the McGale family!
This sweet mare is the dream come true start to our breeding program and we cannot wait to see what she helps us build!

Our pasture horses enjoy low numbers in their herd, keeping their experience laid back and relaxed! All pastures are finished with Bayco and electric fencing and the horse's are checked on several times per day.
