Our field-bred English Springer Spaniel litter from Narvin’s Railway Engineer SH (“Spike”) and Narvin’s What’s Your Name (“Asker”) made their much-anticipated arrival on May 27th!
Asker welcomed nine healthy, beautifully marked puppies into the world—four females and five males. From day one, these little ones have been strong, active, and thriving. Asker is proving to be an exceptional mother, and we couldn’t be happier with how both she and her puppies are doing.
This litter represents everything we strive to produce: dogs with natural ability, outstanding temperaments, and the versatility to excel both in the field and as family companions. Both Spike and Asker are talented hunting dogs with excellent trainability, strong natural instincts, and the classic Springer Spaniel personality that makes the breed so beloved.
Outside, they are energetic, driven, and always eager to work. Inside, they are calm, affectionate, and content to spend time with their families. They are true Velcro dogs that want to be involved in every part of your day.
With nine exceptional puppies to watch grow, we are excited to see their personalities begin to emerge over the coming weeks. Based on the quality, temperament, and proven abilities of their parents, we expect these puppies to be excellent candidates for active families, hunting homes, and performance enthusiasts alike.
The next eight weeks are always some of our favorite weeks of the year, and we look forward to sharing their journey as they grow, develop, and begin preparing for their future homes.
Stay tuned for plenty of puppy updates—these little Springers are already off to a fantastic start.
If you’ve been looking for a Springer Spaniel with the natural ability to perform in the field and the temperament to be an outstanding family companion, this litter is shaping up to be something special.

After a few crazy weeks—and a winter that just wouldn’t let go—it’s finally time to introduce our Summer 2026 Board & Train crew!

This group of dogs will be working through both our Board & Train Obedience Program (2 months) and our Board & Train Gun Dog Program (4 months) over the coming weeks, and we’re excited to showcase their progress along the way.

Let’s meet the crew:

• Willow – Willow joined us early in mid-March and has just completed her 2-month obedience program. She heads home today, and we couldn’t be more proud of her progress!

• Sadie – Back for a return visit after training with us in Summer 2025, Sadie is here for an obedience tune-up and to continue advancing her skills.

• Betty – Our first gun dog of the 2026 season, kicking things off in the field.

• Lucy – A black female joining us for training this summer.

• Benelli – A yellow male participating in our gun dog program.

• Mea – A pretty yellow female joining the gun dog program.

• Hutch – A black male ready to get to work this summer.

• Scout – Back with us again! Scout is a first-year gun dog ready to get to work this summer.

• Ember – A beautiful chocolate female joining the gun dog program.

• Rascal – A sweet yellow female ready to begin her training journey.

• Kyra – A black female joining us this summer.

• Rosa – Returning after last year’s program, Rosa is here to advance her skills and will leave at the end of August as a finished gun dog, who will be confidently running long doubles and triples, be handling and taking casts, and running blinds on both land and water.

• Sq**rt – Another returning dog from Summer 2025, Sq**rt completed our basic program and is back to advance her skills. By the end of August, she’ll be running long doubles and triples, handling confidently, and running blinds on land and water as a finished gun dog.

And last but not least Django a vey bold and out going yellow Male.

Looking ahead:
• We have one more black male arriving mid-next week for our obedience program, heading home in mid-July.
• Then in early July, once our current obedience dogs head home, we’ll welcome three more dogs for gun dog tune-ups—getting them sharp and ready for hunting season this fall.

We’re excited to work with this incredible group and can’t wait to share their journeys with you all!

Fun Fact!! Betty and Rascal are litter mates from our 2025 Doc x Jessie litter, as well as Django and Benellie are litter mates from our 2025 Ben x Barley litter!! Also Sadie, and Krya are Oak Lane puppies are well!!

Our Board & Train programs are currently fully booked through mid-August, and we are not accepting any additional dogs at this time.

Spots beyond August are limited and tend to fill quickly. If you’re interested in having your dog train with us, we encourage you to reach out early to discuss availability and secure a place in an upcoming program.

Our Ben x Lucy litter of six energetic little butterballs made their trip to Gateway Veterinary Services today for their first vaccinations and full health checks. As expected, all six passed with flying colours. healthy, happy, and ready to take on the world.
These pups wasted no time making themselves at home at the clinic, soaking up attention and showing off their outgoing, people loving personalities. This breeding continues to prove why it’s been one of my favorites over the years the consistency in temperament, intelligence, and natural ability is exactly what we strive for in our program.
With the influence of both Ben and Lucy, these puppies are going to excel as well-rounded companions. They have the kind of drive and instinct that will make them exceptional hunting partners in both waterfowl and upland settings, paired with the temperament and off-switch needed to be outstanding family dogs in the home.
Lucy truly outdid herself with this being her final litter. She raised a confident, social, and capable group, and it shows in every one of these pups.
We’ve made the decision to hold back a yellow female, who we’ll be calling Kitty. She is an exceptional puppy and a standout from this litter, and we have very high expectations for her. Our goal is for Kitty to play an important role in the future of our breeding program, continuing these proven lines and building on the consistency, trainability, and natural ability we work hard to produce. As with all of our breeding prospects, she will be thoroughly evaluated as she matures and will need to pass all health clearances at two years of age before being considered for our program.
We will also be holding onto the small yellow male we previously shared Todd. Todd has been a special one from the start as our bottle-fed runt, and he’s done nothing but exceed expectations every step of the way. Because of that, we’ll be keeping him through the fall to continue his early puppy training and development. He will be available to the right home later this year, likely around September or October, and we’re excited to see him continue to grow into a truly exceptional dog.
The remaining puppies will be heading off to their forever homes over the next week. While it’s always bittersweet to see them go, I know they’re going to make a huge impact wherever they land both in the field and at home.

Our Red x Maybelle puppies made their trip to Gateway Veterinary Services today for their first vaccinations and complete health checks, and all 11 pups passed with flying colours!
These puppies continue to impress in every way. They confidently made themselves at home in the exam room, showing off their outgoing, people-loving personalities and natural curiosity. They’re bold, social, and eager to engage traits we love to see at this age.
With the combination of Red and Maybelle, these pups are bred to be exceptional hunting companions. They have the drive, intelligence, and natural instincts to excel in the field as both waterfowl and upland partners. At the same time, they carry the temperament and trainability to become outstanding family companions, with that all-important off switch to settle in at home.
These little ones will begin heading to their forever homes this Friday. They’ve been an absolute joy to raise, and while we’ll miss them, we’re incredibly excited to see them thrive with their new families both in the field and at home.

And then we have our chocolate litter between Ecrew6k Shiver Me Timbers Red WCX SH and Oak Lane’s Witchy Woman of Prairie Storm WCX JH (Red x Maybelle). These little ones officially hit the seven-week mark today, and all 11 of them are absolutely full of energy, personality, and joy.
The more they grow, the more I see both mom and dad in them, as well as their grandpa Merlin—not just in their looks, but in their mannerisms, attitudes, and the way they carry themselves. These chocolate pups are shaping up to be some of the nicest chocolates we’ve produced to date.
They are already showing a natural love for retrieving, absolutely adore people, and are happiest when they’re being cuddled or simply hanging out beside you. They are confident, social, affectionate little pups that want to be involved in everything.
These little ones will also be heading in this coming Tuesday for their first vaccinations and full vet health checks. And let me tell you, this crew is definitely going to keep the clinic staff on their toes.
Personally, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these puppies. Whether they end up as active family companions, hunting and working dogs, or competing in the hunt test game, I truly believe they are going to excel at whatever they do.
It’s hard to believe we are only one short week away from these little guys beginning to leave for their forever homes

*All Pups in this litter have homes
Our Ben and Lucy litter is just a few days shy of seven weeks old, and these pups are as adorable as they come. They have been an absolute joy to raise and so much fun to have around.
This coming Tuesday, they’ll head in for their vet health checks and first vaccinations—another big milestone for this special litter.
As this is Lucy’s retirement litter, we’ve made the decision to keep a little yellow female for ourselves, which makes this litter even more meaningful to us.
These puppies are outgoing, playful, and absolutely love people. They have wonderful temperaments and are simply a joy to be around. I truly believe the families welcoming these pups home are going to be incredibly happy—not just now, but for many years to come—as these puppies grow into exceptional companions, hunting partners, and beloved family members.
