💔 A Difficult Update for Our Bold by Nature Family 🐾

We wish we were sharing better news today.

We’ve been informed that Bold by Nature has entered receivership and therefore will no longer be available to us going forward. This came as a surprise to us too, and we know this news may be upsetting for many of you — especially those whose pets have been happily eating Bold by Nature for years.

There is little stock left available for us to purchase. We did secure a medium size order that will be coming next week. This will hopefully allow everyone a chance to make the transition to another brand without the added pressure of not having what your pet is use too.

So, once the Bold by Nature we currently have is gone, that’s it. We won’t be able to bring in more.

We do have some boxes available, and we’ll be working with each of our frequent buyer clients individually to make sure the loyalty you’ve already earned doesn’t disappear. ❤️

🐾 But we’re not stopping there.

We’ve already been working hard to find alternatives that we feel comfortable recommending to you.

We currently have Back 2 Raw in our freezers, a brand we’ve been carrying for the past couple of months that has been very well received. We’ll have samples available when you come in so you can see if your dog enjoys it.

We’re also working on bringing in another option next week, with samples available so you can compare and make the best decision for your pet. We also continue to carry other brands that we are happy to let you sample or try with no obligations.

And for our feline friends, we’re putting extra focus on finding a suitable option with a dedicated cat line, since Back 2 Raw does not currently offer feline food.

Our goal is not to simply replace Bold by Nature with whatever happens to be available. We’re looking for something that meets our standards for quality, keeps the price as comparable as possible, and — most importantly — is something your pets will enjoy and thrive on.

And here’s some good news we’re really happy about:

That means the boxes you’ve worked toward with Bold by Nature won’t be lost. We know how important that is, and we’re grateful these new brands are willing to help us make the transition easier.

We know changing your pet’s food isn’t always simple. Some pets are picky. Some have very strong opinions. 😅 And some of you have spent years finding the food that works just right for your pet.

We understand.

We’re going to do everything we can to help you through this transition, one pet at a time.

✨ New Month, New Updates! ✨

We’ve recently updated our in-store return policy to provide clearer guidelines and a little more flexibility for both dry and raw frozen pet food. 🐾

Historically, we have maintained a fairly strict return policy on raw frozen products, largely because of our commitment to food safety and maintaining complete control over the cold chain. That part has not changed — once a raw product leaves our store, it will never be placed back into our freezers for resale, even if it is unopened. We feel this is incredibly important and gives our customers peace of mind knowing exactly how the raw food they purchase has been handled.

We have also always followed the individual return and satisfaction guarantees offered by our manufacturers. Over the last little while, some of those policies have changed, so we’ve taken the time to connect directly with our suppliers, review their most current policies, and update ours accordingly.

The great news is that a lot of the raw brands we carry now offer satisfaction guarantees that give us much more flexibility with returns. In many cases, we can now accept a return even if your pet simply doesn’t like the food, provided it falls within that manufacturer’s guidelines and there is no repeated misuse of the policy.
And, as always, if there is ever a quality concern with any food purchased from us, we will continue to refund or exchange it without hesitation, just as we always have.

We’ve also clarified our policy for dry, canned and wet foods, which allows for even more flexibility. Unopened food in its original purchased condition may be returned within 14 days with your receipt for a full refund. Opened food that simply doesn’t work for your pet may also be returned and will qualify for an exchange or in-store credit, subject to our return guidelines.

Ultimately, if you ever have an issue with anything you purchase from us, please reach out! Whether your pet won’t eat it, it doesn’t agree with them, you have a quality concern, or you’re simply unsure whether something qualifies for a return, we are always happy to help.

🐾 Our favorite regulars are back! 🐾

Cesar & Loki stopped by for another visit, and as always, these two handsome boys brought plenty of cuteness with them! ❤️🐶

They’re practically part of the store family at this point, and we always love seeing their familiar faces (and those adorable ears!) when they come through the door. 🥰🐕‍🦺

💕 DOUBLE THE CUTENESS! 💕

These two absolutely gorgeous girls stopped in for a visit last week and seriously… look at those faces! 😍🐾

Not only are they beautiful, but they were the sweetest, friendliest girls and were more than happy to soak up some attention while they were here. 🥰

One of the best parts of my job will always be getting to meet your dogs — especially when they come through the door looking this happy to see me! 😂💗
