🐾 THE POSITION
Dog Bather
📍 Location: 310 Victoria Avenue East
💰 Pay: minimum wage to start
🗓️ Start Date: September 7th
⏰ Hours: 9 or 9:30 - 3 or 4 (Varies)
✂️ WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Your responsibilities will include:
• Bathing and drying dogs
• Brushing and deshedding
• Nail trims
• Ear cleaning
• Preparing dogs for their groom
• Handling dogs safely and patiently
• Maintaining a clean and organized salon
• Helping the grooming team throughout the day
• Opening/closing duties as required
🐶 EXPERIENCE
Previous dog bathing or grooming experience is an asset, but it is not necessarily required.
We are willing to train the right person!
We’re looking for someone who is:

✔️ Hardworking and motivated
✔️ Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments
✔️ Patient, calm and gentle with animals
✔️ Able to work well independently and as part of a team
✔️ Willing to learn and take direction
✔️ Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
💪 WHAT TO EXPECT
Dog bathing is physical work. You will be on your feet for much of the day, lifting and handling dogs, bending, brushing, bathing and using high-velocity dryers.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy and working with animals.
