Sorry folks, the petting zoo will NOT be open to the public this weekend 🥶☃️

We will be open tomorrow, Saturday May 23rd, for another petting zoo day!!! Come visit us from 12-4pm! Admission is $5 per person, but kids 2 and under get in FREE! We sell animal treat bags for $5, and offer pony rides for $5 between 1-3pm!

Please remember ⬇️⬇️⬇️

There are a few things you may want to know:

- We do not allow outside food to be brought with you for the animals. We take pride in providing ideal species specific diets to our animals, and some foods may not be safe for some species. We will have treat bags for sale for those of you who would like to safely feed our animals.

- Please leave your own pets at home. We do have some free range animals, and even if your pet is usually friendly, some of ours may feel territorial.

- All of our animals are tame and friendly, but they are still animals. Please keep close watch on your children, as an animal may easily mistake their fingers for food if they are too close to their mouth.

- Strollers are permitted and we are mostly wheelchair accessible, but keep in mind that access to the animals requires walking through our outdoor riding arena which is loose crusher dust, and may be hard to push through. Closed footwear is also suggested.

- We take CASH ONLY, but if you happen to forget the bank, there is an ATM available (and much more) just minutes up the road at Noelle's Country Market!

- Please, NO SMOKING anywhere on the property!

Attention gardeners 🌱

We are ready to supply your 2026 black gold compost needs!

🌟 Our first scheduled TRUCK pick up will be Saturday May 9th from 4-5pm. We are taking pre bagged orders through messenger now, but they won't be ready for pick up this weekend.

$5 per 50+lb pre filled bag
$25 to fill your pickup truck loaded by our tractor.

We have tested it out and the average pickup truck load (2 tractor buckets) works out to 32 bags ($160 value for $25!)

We will be taking pre orders via messenger while supplies last. Please do not show up without confirming your order with us first, we keep a list of names and amounts. If you order bags, we fill them ahead of time during the day and only have the set number available during the pick up time. If you are ordering truck loads, we wouldn't want someone to show up when are are unavailable for loading.

Some compost FAQs:

💩 What is the price?

We sell our compost for $5 per bag (large animal feed bags, filled until they are hard to lift, minimum 50lb per bag), or we can load your pickup truck by tractor for $25. Feel free to message us about larger trailer loads.

💩 Where are you located, can you deliver?

We are at 225 Frenchvale Rd in Balls Creek (less than 1km from exit 4 off highway 125). We do not deliver.

💩 Is it aged manure, how old?

The manure we sell is a minimum of 2 years old, and ready to be used directly on your garden.

💩 What animal is it from?

It is made from an aged mixture of manure from all of our animals, as well as a small amount of hay and sawdust animal bedding. We are unable to separate manure by specific types.

We are VERY beginner gardeners ourselves, but we have had an abundance of healthy produce grow easily, and we just plant directly in this compost 😁

We are so grateful for all of the support yesterday for our Easter event! It turned out to be a real challenge to get the farm ready for customers with all that 'lousy Smarch weather' all weekend, but you all booted up and helped us make the best of it!

We still have a lot of work to do before we are ready to open for the season on Saturdays, but stay tuned, we will be hard at it and will post here once we are ready!

We will be good to go for our event tomorrow, but don't forget your rubber boots! Looks like we will be swapping out all that unwelcome snow for some spring mud!

It helps if you use the word "birthday" in the subject heading, as we get a large volume of emails and this helps us sort through the 'junk'.
