To me a dog is a dog regardless of breed, size, or attitude.

We are still OPEN today... for now 🤣
As of now I still have power but holy is it ever blowing out there 😵‍💫💨
I do have a small generator and most of my clippers are battery powered so as long as I get the dog bathed I can complete the grooms in front of me. IF we lose power I will call remaining clients to reschedule as once the water goes I am unable to groom dirty dogs, especially in this mucky spring weather.

Cut and Paste from a Nail Salon as I get ready to bathe my own dogs after my SIXTH No Show this week. That's right. 6 full grooms and a handful of nails/bums totalling to over $400 in lost income. While I *slightly* understand its March Break and maybe people's minds are elsewhere... I'd like to be elsewhere too. With my kids. I paid for them to attend a program this week so I could work as I had full days booked. Now, not only did I not earn income planned and budgeted for, I also paid for them to be away when I could have kept them home and had spa days, baked cookies, gone sliding and made memories. For those who don't know me well, my kids are still young enough that I'm cool. Those days are limited and precious to me. Trying to scramble to re-budget that lost income is frustrating enough. Feeling the mom guilt of lost time with my kids while they still want to be seen with me is devastating.

To regular clients: PLEASE give me MINIMUM 24-48 hours notice of things change on your end. The more time I have to fill a spot the better chances I have of actually filling it. I do ask full payment for missed appts.
New clients who No Show. I will not re-book you. I literally can not afford to have you as a client if you start our relationship by leaving me hanging.
