As temperatures start to drop, you may be wondering how long your dog should spend outdoors. The answer depends on factors like their size, coat type, and age. Keep an eye out for signs they're getting too cold, such as slowing down, shivering, or lifting their paws. When you notice these cues, it's time to head inside and warm up.

All kittens have found loving homes***

Now that the crew has had some time to settle into their cage at the store, we’re ready to officially introduce our newest kitties looking for their forever homes! 🏡🐾

🧡 Meet Carlton — Orange male pending adoption
🤎 Meet Ashley — Darker tabby female pending adoption
🤍 Meet Hilary — Lighter tabby female pending adoption

These adorable babies are 9 weeks old and are available for adoption together or separately!

Carlton is definitely the little spitfire of the group — playful, outgoing, and full of personality! His sisters, Ashley and Hilary, are a tad more shy and laid-back, but they’re settling in more each day. 💕

They have never been around children or dogs, so we’re not sure how they would do with them just yet. What we do know is that they are great with other cats! 🐱

Come down to the store and spend some time with Carlton, Ashley and Hilary. You might just meet your newest family member… or two! 😉🐾

Could one of these sweet babies be the perfect fit for your home? ❤️

Available through S.O.S - Strays Of Sussex

🐾 Meet Lucy! 🐾 *Adopted*

We honestly don’t know why this beautiful girl is still waiting for her forever home! 💕

Lucy is a gorgeous 5 ½-month-old kitten who is sweet, playful, and ready to find her family.

🐱 She does great with other cats!
🐶 She has never been around a dog before, but with a proper, slow introduction, we think she could do just fine.
🏡 Most importantly, Lucy is looking for a forever home where she can be loved and spoiled.

Could you be the family Lucy has been waiting for? 🥹❤️

Come meet this beautiful girl and give her the second chance she deserves! 🐾

Meet Lucy

If there were a Kitten Mountain Climbing Championship, I'm pretty sure I'd already have a trophy.

Hi! I'm Lucy, born March 15, 2026, and I'm on a mission to climb absolutely everything. Cat trees? Easy. Chairs? No problem. The highest shelf you didn't think I could reach? Challenge accepted.

My foster dad says I have two speeds: explore... and explore faster.

Once I've finished my daily adventures, though, I become a completely different kitten. As soon as the TV comes on in the evening, you'll usually find me snuggled up beside my favorite human, happy to spend the rest of the night watching whatever you're watching... even if I'm asleep five minutes later.
I'm also a bit of a foodie. Dinner is exciting. Breakfast is exciting. But kitty treats?
Let's just say... I can hear a treat bag open from another postal code.
I love to play, I love to climb, I love to explore, and I love spending time with my people. Life is just one big adventure, and I can't wait to find someone to share it with.

Quote from Lucy:
"I'm not climbing your furniture... I'm performing a very important structural safety inspection."
From her foster:
"Lucy is such a fun little girl. She keeps us laughing with her climbing adventures, but when the day is done she's happiest curled up beside you for a quiet evening. She's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate."

If your home could use a tiny explorer, a professional treat inspector, and a world-class TV snuggle buddy...
Lucy is already packing her little paws.

Meet Roxy 🐾💗 **Adopted**

Hello, meet Roxy! This beautiful girl is approximately 1 year old, spayed, and officially ready for retirement. 🥰

Roxy has raised her babies, watched them grow, and now they’ve all headed off to their loving forever homes. ❤️ Her job as a mama is done, and now it’s Roxy’s turn to be spoiled!

Roxy has just one request for her forever home: she wants to be the only pet. No other cats or dogs, please! She’d love a home where she can have all the attention and her people all to herself. 🏡💕

She is incredibly loving and sweet, and she comes with the loudest, happiest purr to let you know just how much she loves you. 😻

Could you be the person who gives Roxy the quiet, loving forever home she deserves?

Roxy is ready to leave motherhood behind and start her next chapter. 🐾💗

📩 Could your home be the one she’s been waiting for?
