After entering the pasture and spending time simply witnessing the herd, Johnny dropped to the earth and began to roll. Then he stood up and shook everything off.

Horses instinctively know how to release what they no longer need.

After an unexpected experience left me feeling shaken, I wondered whether I should go home or continue with my day.

Does Sound Healing Bother Horses? Watch Raya’s Response. 🐴✨

One of the questions I’m asked a lot is, “Does the sound of the tuning forks bother the horses?”

From everything I’ve witnessed over the years—not only with horses, but also birds, cats, dogs, pigs, and chickens—the answer is no.

They always have a choice.

If they’ve had enough, they simply walk away. But more often than not, they soften, relax, and stay with the calming frequencies.

Raya naturally uses eating as one way to ground her nervous system. Before sessions, I often offer tuning forks to support relaxation first. She still chooses to eat, but you’ll notice how calm and settled she becomes. Every animal responds a little differently, and that’s one of the things I love most about this work.

Healing begins by honoring choice. 💕

Healing is a relationship 💞

Before every Horse-Guided Healing Experience, I arrive early.

Not to just set up or prepare, but also to pause and tune in.

I spend quiet time connecting with the horses, the land, and all the beings who make these experiences possible. It’s my way of offering gratitude, listening with an open heart, and asking how I may best support everyone’s highest healing, growth, and evolution.

Recently, I noticed Trigger was moving slowly. His body was very stiff, so I offered him a tuning fork session and gentle energy healing before my client arrived.

It felt right.

He gives so much to everyone.

In that moment, I was reminded that healing is a relationship. The horses, the land, and the wild beings give so much to us, and we have the privilege of giving something back.

This is the heart of SoulShine.

Imagine how our world might change if we all remembered that we’re in relationship with everyone and everything. Every act of gratitude, presence, and care creates a ripple effect far beyond what we can see.

The horses remind me of this every single day and for that I am deeply grateful.

A SoulShine Update 💛

The upcoming SoulShine Experience with Horses in South Surrey has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a future date.

I’m feeling called to stay close to home right now and be fully present with my cat, Rocky, as he heals from a recent health challenge. Honouring what matters most is deeply important to me, and I wouldn’t be the guide I am if I didn’t first care for myself and those I love.

In the meantime, my horse-guided healing experiences here on Vancouver Island will continue as planned. I’m looking forward to welcoming those who have already booked their sessions and those who feel called to join me and the herd here.

Thank you so much for your understanding, your kindness, and your continued support. It truly means the world.
