"You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make" - Jane Goodall
This was the significant statement that pushed me to put my passion of animal welfare into action. I feel I am in a position to have a voice and I have a duty to help our pets thrive. Knowledge is a very powerful tool and when used in the right way can change lives and the world for the better. Another subject i feel strongly about is of Lyme Disease, after a long 2 year mystery illness starting in 2012 i finaly found out i had Lyme Disease. This is a huge epidemic presently in Canada and Worldwide. I'm here to tell the story of my fight through Lyme and help educate others of the signs and symptoms. In turn, the hope is faster diagnosis and better treatment for those afflicted. If treated early, Lyme is a curable disease.

This sweet little peanut just melted my heart. She climbed onto me and just snuggled under my chin while I checked out her X-rays. Sometimes that all it takes to make me appreciate what I do. Animals teach us so much… to love unconditionally, be kind and accepting and to look after each other. Everyone needs a little love and help these days ❤️

Fantastic article written by my amazing colleague and friend Dr Ashlee Albright. Tips to help us help you get the most value out of your vet visits!

Since becoming a veterinarian over a decade ago, I have experienced a wide spectrum of client interactions. Many vet appointments unveil pure joys with the whiff of puppy breath, sneaky ear licks, or the honour of receiving a slow cat blink. Others can go south quickly with a fearfully aggressive pa
