Fleas Don't Take Vacations
Think fleas are only a summer problem? Think again!
Fleas can survive indoors year-round and can quickly turn one flea into hundreds. These tiny pests can cause:
🔹 Intense itching and discomfort
🔹 Skin infections
🔹 Allergic reactions
🔹 Tapeworm transmission
The good news? Prevention is simple and far easier than treating a flea infestation once it starts.
Protect your pet before fleas become a problem! 🐾

BC's Beautiful Outdoors Come With Hidden Risks
BC offers incredible trails, parks, and outdoor adventures—but ticks love these areas too.
Whether your pet enjoys hiking, camping, beach walks, or simply exploring the backyard, they're at risk of picking up ticks.
Protecting your pet with regular parasite prevention helps ensure they can enjoy every outdoor adventure safely.
🐾 Explore more. Worry less.
Ask us about the best tick and flea protection options for your pet today!

Prevention Is Easier Than Treatment
When it comes to fleas and ticks, prevention is one of the simplest ways to protect your pet's health.
A monthly preventative can help:
✔ Prevent flea infestations
✔ Reduce tick attachment and disease risk
✔ Keep your pet comfortable and itch-free
✔ Give you peace of mind

Don't wait until you find a tick or notice scratching—stay one step ahead with preventative care.
Because your pet deserves protection every season of the year. 🐕🐈❤️

Tick Talk Tuesday:

Did you know... The most common established ticks in Canada that dogs and cats may encounter are in the Dermacentor or Ixodes species groups, which include the American dog tick (Dermacentor variabilis) and the blacklegged tick (Ixodes scapularis). (find more fun facts on ticktalkcanada.com)

Flea Fact Friday!

Did you know... Fleas can’t fly and instead rely on an astounding ability to jump to get to a new host. Fleas can jump at least a foot in the air, which is around 150 times their height!

This means that even if you comb adult fleas off your pet daily, there’s a strong likelihood that an adult will easily jump back onto your pet from the floor. Due to fleas’ natural acrobatic skills, control of flea infestations requires treating both your pet and the environment. (Sourced From PetMD.com)

Tick Talk Thursday:

Did you know... Removing a tick as soon as you spot it can reduce the chances of disease transmission! The easiest and safest way to remove a tick is by grasping it as close as possible to the skin with fine-tipped tweezers and pulling it straight out, without squeezing the body.

NEVER try to burn a tick with a match or a candle, or cover it with petroleum jelly, nail polish, perfume or alcohol—all potentially dangerous things to do. (see more fun facts at ticktalkcanada.com)

As the days keep heating up, we want to offer our current clients a 25% off discount on a 6 months supply of flea and tick preventative! This offer is only available until June 15th!
