We are still collecting donations for the families affected by the BC Wildfires!

If you have any food, leashes, toys, cat harnesses, bird feed, etc. or money you'd like to donate please reach out to us or come into the pet store!

We have a volunteer driver picking the last load up on Saturday, so we are able to accept donations until Friday night.

Hairballs are a common part of being a cat, but changes in this behaviour can sometimes signal an underlying issue.
As cats groom themselves, they swallow loose fur. Most of it passes through the digestive tract without a problem, but sometimes it builds up in the stomach and is coughed back up as a hairball.
If your cat is experiencing frequent hairballs, vomiting without producing a hairball, loss of appetite, constipation, or lethargy, it's time to give us a call. These signs could indicate a blockage or another medical condition that requires veterinary attention.

Cats are incredibly good at hiding pain, which can make it difficult to know when something is wrong.
The Feline Grimace Scale is a tool that looks for subtle changes in your cat's facial expression, like ear position, squinting eyes, muzzle tension, whisker position, and head posture, to help identify signs of discomfort.

Arthritis shouldn't just be a part of getting older. It’s a painful condition that affects your pet's comfort and quality of life.
Many dogs and cats hide their pain, and small changes like slowing down on walks, hesitating to jump, stiffness, or less interest in playing can be easy to miss.
There are many ways we can help manage arthritis and keep your pet active and comfortable, including pain management, weight management, and tailored exercise recommendations.

Flea Allergy Dermatitis is a very common cause of itchy skin in dogs and cats, and it only takes one flea bite to trigger a reaction.
If your pet is constantly scratching, chewing at their skin, losing fur, or has red/ irritated areas (especially around the tail base and back legs), fleas could be the cause, even if you don't see any!
Year-round flea prevention is the best way to protect your pet and keep them comfortable.

Nexgard and Nexgard Spectra are very similar parasite preventatives. You can think of Nexgard Spectra as the more coverage version of Nexgard.

The regular Nexgard covers external parasites, while the Spectra also covers internal parasites.
