Keeping Cats Homed We are a non-profit group of volunteers who are dedicated to trying to ensure all cats have a loving, forever home. Based in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

More info on our adoption process. We charge a $100 adoption fee which helps to offset the cost of care, veterinary care, first set of vaccinations and treatment with Revolution. If interested in adopting one of our "adoptables", an adoption application must be completed and submitted for approval. Once approved, your kitten will be held for you until the kitten is ready for adoption. When choosin

g a potential home for these kittens we want to ensure they are going to homes where they will be indoor only (in most situations), will be provided with all veterinary care required including vaccinations, spay/neuter and any follow up care required. Declawing is not permitted with any of our kittens and is in our adoption contract. The application form and contract are available on our website so please take the time to read this through before applying to ensure you are OK with our requirements prior to application. We do require all kittens to be picked up and taken home in a cat carrier for their safety. We do follow up on our kittens to ensure all requirements have been followed and all is going well as we love to see our babies grow into happy cats and members of their new homes.

Our amazing Rhiannon has been taking care of KCHโ€™s social media throughout the summer, and we are so grateful for everything she has done! โค๏ธ Unfortunately for us, university is calling her back, so weโ€™re now looking for someone wonderful to take over the role.

Weโ€™re looking for a volunteer Social Media Manager who can help keep our page active, engaging and up to date โ€” sharing our adoptable cats and kittens, events, volunteer needs, updates and all the other goings-on at KCH. ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’•

If you have experience creating social media content, managing pages, Canva/design work, photography or anything similar, weโ€™d love to hear from you!

Today is National Take your Cat to the Vet Day!

Vet visits are a very important part of being a cat owner, itโ€™s important that your cat visits the vet regularly for checkups and vaccines.

KCH takes groups of kittens to the Summerside Animal Hospital almost every week for checkups and vaccines! Follow along for an average vet visit for a group of KCH kittens preparing for adoption!

๐Ÿพ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS SATURDAY! ๐Ÿพ

Keeping Cats Homed needs a few extra helping hands for our Kitten Snuggle Event at Global Pet Foods in Charlottetown this Saturday! ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’•

The event runs from 11:00 AMโ€“2:00 PM, but weโ€™re asking volunteers to arrive for 10:30 AM to help with setup and, if possible, stay a little later afterward to help us break everything down.

We need all the help we can get to make this event happen and run smoothly. Even if you can only help for part of the day, weโ€™d love to hear from you!
