We need a miracle and that miracle is a quiet home with no kids or pets who wants to love on a quirky special boy named Big Dipper who’s foster placement is coming to an end . He is almost five and was in our care as a young pup and then returned years later .
He is an incredibly sensitive boy , and the boarding kennel will be detrimental to all the growth he has made .

Personality & Home
In the home, Bigger Dipper is calm, relaxed, and well-mannered. He settles easily, does not get into household items, and is not destructive. He is comfortable resting for long periods once his needs are met. He enjoys chewing on bones or enrichment items and is content lounging near his people.
People & Visitors
He may bark briefly when meeting new people or when visitors arrive in the home simply out of excitement. He settles quickly and genuinely loves meeting new people, enjoying attention and social interaction once initial greetings pass.
Training & Manners
He has excellent leash manners and walks calmly at heel. He responds very well to consistent handling and predictable routines. He knows how to go into his crate and settles once inside. He has been working on separation and does best when crated during absences, as free-roaming alone can be stressful for him.
Energy & Exercise
He benefits from regular, structured exercise rather than chaotic or overstimulating environments. Calm sniff walks, predictable routines, and daily movement help him stay balanced and settled.
Dogs & Environment
He can be reactive toward other dogs, particularly in close or unexpected encounters. He has been working with a professional trainer and has had successful, controlled interactions with calm, well-mannered dogs. His reactivity is fear-based rather than aggressive, and he does best with slow introductions, clear handling, and an experienced, confident handler. During walks, he is actively working on a “leave it” cue when seeing other dogs and is learning to disengage appropriately. With structure and guidance, he continues to make steady progress.
