My mission is to create a stress free, joyful experience, while giving your pet a beautiful lasting haircut. About the Groomer:
I was born and raised in Calgary, and knew from the time I could walk I would be working with animals. I started working in pet stores and kennels all throughout high school to further my knowledge of the vast animal industry. After graduation, I worked as a bather in a g

rooming salon and I fell in LOVE. I attended the Alberta School of Dog Grooming in early 2012 and loved every second of it. I accepted a job right after graduation in Strathmore at a local doggy daycare. I decided after a year I wanted to branch out on my own and now I have a small one-woman shop out of the comfort of my own home. I love my job, and It shows in my work, and your pets. I keep myself on my toes by attending seminars on breed standard cuts to seminars dedicated to color. I keep updated on the latest grooming trends (Bling, Asian fusion, tattooing etc.) with weekly online video tutorials. I love a challange and will be continuing to grow in the grooming industry. In the future, I plan on entering show grooming competitions and competing in SuperZoo in Vegas, A creative grooming competition that attracts over 10,000 groomers from all over the world. Hi friends! Just wanted to give everyone a quick life update :)
Effective immediately, I'm pausing my grooming career, to move into a full time care giving role for Grandpa. I'm deeply sorry for the sudden transition, however family will always come first ❤️ I will be back to grooming in my home salon one day, but until then, please contact the very talented April Cowie at Alpine!!

I believe my assistant, the amazing April Cowie (I will tag her in the comments) has a few spots left this year at Alpine, so please message her there to set up an appointment. I'm off for a much needed vacation with my family🥰 However, I will be available to answer messages and questions. Have a very merry Christmas, and a safe and happy new year!!

I'm coming back!!! Kinda.... lol
To make a long story short, I miss the dogs, and I miss my clients, but my shoulder still isn't fixed. I'm still doing photography, I'm still taking care of my little boy (who is 3 at the end of this month🤯) however, I strive amongst chaos, so I also wanted to get my feet "furry" again. This is where Julia has swooped in to help me!! I'm so excited to have her in the salon with me. She has great energy, knowledge and enthusiasm for the grooming world. I cant wait to see what this new partnership will bring to Strathmore and area!

**ANNOUNCEMENT***
My lovely grooming clients and friends. I have a sad, but also exciting announcement to make. Most of you know I've been struggling with my shoulder pain for the past year, and frankly I can't do it anymore. Being in constant physical pain, directly related to your job is so tough.
I have made the difficult decision that it's time to step away from the grooming industry. Whether it's permanent or not, I can't tell you. I still love grooming, and I've shed a lot tears over this. I love all my clients like my own and I'm going miss all the faces, human and furry.
That being said, I have been taking courses in my off time, and I'm excited to announce I am starting a photography business! Life and Lens Photography I do it all, so if you need any photos taken, please think of me! I have a variety of packages, to fit every budget :)
