Help Wanted
Outdoor Handyman Helper
This company based east of Sherwood Park primarily removes trees, builds decks and fences in areas around Edmonton.
Approx. 20—30 hours a week. Flexible (casual part time) hours per day depending on the job.
The following qualifications are a must:
• Immediately available
• Good and positive attitude
• Energetic
• Physically capable of doing the job
• Punctual
• Teachable
• Good work ethic
• Attention to detail
The following skills are good to have;
• Driver’s license and transportation.
• Speak, comprehend, read and write English.
• Experience in at least some of the following is a bonus (not just viewed on YouTube):
o Physical labor
o Carpentry
o Use of power tools
o Use of a chainsaw
o Tree removal, deck or fence building
The successful candidate will be mentored/trained on all projects and not expected to work alone. Energetically work on all tasks detailed. Ask questions to clarify the desired method or outcome. Follow directions. Works safely and identify risks.
What doesn’t matter is age, or gender.
The pay scale will depend on qualifications, skill, experience and demonstrated energy and attitude.
