🐾❤️ **MEET LINDY – 19 YEARS YOUNG & LOOKING FOR LOVE!** ❤️🐾

At 19 years old, sweet Lindy has found herself looking for a new home after her beloved owner sadly passed away. 💔

Despite her age, Lindy is a healthy, happy senior girl with no known medical concerns. She's spayed and still has plenty of personality!

💕 **A little about Lindy:**

🐾 19 years young and full of love

🐾 Sweet, affectionate, and loves head pets and chin scratches (but please, no butt pats — she's a lady with preferences!)

🐾 Gets excited when her humans come home

🐾 Loves her chicken lickable treats

🐾 Absolutely loves spending time outdoors!

🐾 Has a little sassy side that makes her extra special!

🏡 **Lindy's ideal home:**

Lindy would do best in a peaceful, quiet home without other pets, dogs, babies, or young children. At her age, she deserves a calm, comfortable environment where she can relax and enjoy her golden years.

**An extra bonus would be a home with a secure outdoor enclosure, catio, or safely enclosed yard!** Lindy loves the fresh air and spending time outside, so having a safe space where she can continue enjoying the outdoors would make her very happy. 🌿☀️

Lindy is currently being cared for in a loving **foster home in Waterloo, Ontario**, while she waits for her forever family.

💉 **A note about vaccinations:** Although we believe Lindy has been vaccinated, unfortunately, her vaccination records cannot be located. We will ensure she receives the appropriate vaccinations, following veterinary guidance, prior to adoption.

🖤🐈‍⬛ OCTOBER IS BLACK CAT AWARENESS MONTH 🐈‍⬛🖤

October is a month to challenge the myths and superstitions surrounding black cats, celebrate just how wonderful they are, and help these beautiful cats get noticed.

And there is one little black cat we especially want you to notice…

Bridgette. 🖤

Despite everything this beautiful 6-year-old girl has been through, Bridgette still hasn’t received a single adoption application. 💔

After losing her human, Bridgette’s whole world changed. She came into our care needing a new beginning and, while she waits patiently, she continues to be overlooked.

We really don’t understand why.

Bridgette is confident, vocal, affectionate in her own way and absolutely full of personality. She has a unique malformed paw that just makes her even more special. 🐾

She previously lived with two dogs and her sibling cat and could do well with cat-friendly pets. We believe a quieter home where she can feel safe, loved and secure would be perfect for her.

🖤 Black cats deserve to be seen.
🖤 They deserve to be chosen.
🖤 And Bridgette deserves her second chance.

Maybe her person simply hasn’t seen her yet.

So during Black Cat Awareness Month, we’re asking for one small thing:

Bridgette came into our care after her owner sadly passed away and her world suddenly changed.

Before coming to Hearts4Paws, Bridgette shared her home with two dogs, her sister and her brother cat, so she has experience living with other animals. She would do well with cat-friendly dogs and easygoing cats, with proper introductions.

Bridgette was born with a malformed paw, but don't tell her that! It certainly doesn't stop her confidence or keep her from enjoying life. She has a wonderfully vocal personality and isn't shy about letting you know when she has something to say.

Considering everything Bridgette has been through, we feel she would be happiest in a quieter, stable home where she can feel safe, loved and secure. She deserves a family who will give her the time and space to settle in and simply enjoy being someone's beloved companion again.
