All of our puppies from this spring are off on their new adventures, a bit bittersweet to say the least.

We had an absolute blast raising our Kira and Tyra puppies, what a joy they brought us in these two litters. The days were busy, the laundry was extra😅, the laughs were loud and long, and at times the tears kept us up at night.

Breeding is certainly not for the faint of heart, but we live and breathe for the happiness the puppies bring their new families. We share the joys in the small wins and truly appreciate the messages that remind us why we keep striving for better. Better pedigrees, better temperaments, better structure, and a line of dogs that creates a strong family bond, something we are incredibly proud of.

We love our Ausable River Family and can't thank you all enough for trusting in me, my husband Matt and our boys in raising your new puppies.

Zeke's been cooped up in the house while his eye heals. He's rocking out this potty training stuff, deals with the eye drops and loves the attention from the boys. He's a dreamy boy, sooo well behaved!

What a joy to see how a pup can adapt from being part of the litter, to his own individual as a family pet.

Zeke goes for a recheck on his eye on Tuesday, but we can already tell it's feeling soo much better.

Our poor Zeke-boy had an eventful day👁

While I was doing my morning chores and walkabout the property I noticed Zeke was acting a little strange. On closer inspection I found him extra squinty on his left eye.

If you know me, you know I NEVER mess around with eyes.

Thankfully my wonderful Vets and amazing staff at Romeo Pet Hospital feel a similar kind of way. They got Zeke in for an appointment in a jiffy and discovered a small scratch on his cornea 🫣. We have care instructions, medicated drops for a few days and a recheck in a week.

Send Zeke all your good ju-ju in his recovery! I will be sure to spoil the heck out of him, he's going to be a super star at eye drops when we're all said and done🥰.

Zeke and Cleo are patiently waiting to find their very own families. ❤️

These two sweet Australian Shepherd puppies are full of personality, and we've shared a little about each of them on our website so you can get to know them before you visit.

Both puppies are up to date on their age-appropriate vaccinations, have been dewormed, are microchipped, and have received a clean bill of health from our wonderful veterinary team.

There’s just something special about a summer evening on the farm. 🌅🐾

After being cooped up for a few days because of the heat and the smoky skies from the forest fires up north, these pups were more than ready to stretch their legs. The cool breeze rolled in, the sky cleared, and they took off running like they were making up for lost time.

Watching them tumble through the grass, chase each other in the golden light, and enjoy the fresh country air is one of those simple moments that never gets old. These are the days I'll remember long after they've gone home with their families. 🤎

I believe one puppy is still looking for their forever home, and I am currently accepting deposits. If you've been thinking about welcoming an Australian Shepherd into your family, I'd love to hear from you.

We're having an awesome start to our summer! Puppies had family visits the last 2 weekends, Kira's babies tested out the pool, the Ehgoetz boys are rocking out on the ball diamond.

What a joy summer 2026 has been so far! So many more exciting things to come🥰
