The course is finished from an educational standpoint. The modules, lessons, theory, quizzes and course material are complete. The only piece still being added is the video demonstrations. Because I’m releasing the course before the videos are finished, you’ll be getting access to the completed course material now, with the video demonstrations being added as they are finalized.

📢 Important Scheduling Update from The Spot 4 Pets 🐾

We are excited to share that Danielle has officially received confirmation that she will be returning to Academy Canada as a Lab Demonstrator for the Animal Grooming Program, with her contract beginning September 3rd! 🎉 We are incredibly proud of this opportunity and look forward to continuing to help educate and mentor the next generation of professional groomers.

With Danielle returning to Academy Canada, her grooming availability at The Spot 4 Pets will be reduced to Thursdays and Fridays only.

To ensure our regular clients continue to receive consistent appointments, Danielle is currently working on pre-booking all regular clients through to Christmas.

If you are a regular client and have not yet received your appointments through Christmas, please send us a message as soon as possible.

To keep scheduling fair and manageable, appointments will be prioritized in the following order:
🐾 Every 4-week clients
🐾 Every 6-week clients
🐾 Every 8-week clients
🐾 Every 12-week clients
🐾 Clients who are not on a regular grooming schedule will be offered any remaining appointments, if available.

We have also started a waiting list. If you would like to be added, please send us a message through Facebook Messenger The spot 4 pets with your contact information and your pet’s grooming needs. If cancellations occur or additional appointments become available, we will contact clients in the order they were added to the list.

Be sure to check out our new retail area when dropping off your pup for their grooming appointment. We’re now carrying a selection of pet products and accessories, with even more products and equipment arriving throughout the summer!

We also now accept debit and credit payments and are required to charge HST. To help accommodate this change, some pricing adjustments have been made. More details on our updated pricing will be posted in the coming days.

🚨 LONG BOY ALERT 🚨

Everyone say hello to Gibson! 🐾💙

This sweet, lanky, kiss-giving goofball came in for his spa day at The Spot 4 Pets, and as usual, he spent most of his appointment collecting compliments and convincing everyone he’s actually part giraffe. 🦒😂

Gibson shares his spa days with his beautiful sister Rosie, but today we’re giving this dorky gentleman his moment in the spotlight. Between the endless kisses, wiggly excitement, and those ridiculously long legs, it’s impossible not to fall in love with him.

Now we need to know…

Jax said, “I like my spa days… I just don’t want to share them.” 😂🐾

This handsome boy prefers VIP treatment with no other dogs around, and honestly, who can blame him? As you can see, he’s an absolute angel during his one-on-one grooming appointments. ❤️

Every pet is different, and I love being able to tailor appointments to what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

Rowan said “absolutely not” to grooming when we first met 😂🐊🐢
This boy mastered the crocodile roll, snapping turtle mode, AND rocked the cone of shame like it was a fashion statement.

But instead of forcing the process, we slowed it down and worked WITH him. Through corrective training, confident handling, counterweight work, patience, and learning his triggers, Rowan has completely transformed his grooming experience. One huge thing I noticed was that the grooming loop made him panic and want to pull away from the table even more. So we adjusted.

His table stays at a safe height where he can safely jump on and off, and I stay extra aware of every little body movement and signal he gives me throughout the groom. Now? This sweet boy willingly stands on the table with NO grooming loop and even waits for his cues to hop up and down like a little professional 🥹✨

These are the moments that make grooming so rewarding for me. Every dog is different, and sometimes success looks different too.

Watching dogs grow more comfortable and confident throughout the grooming process is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and Piper was truly such a sweetheart today ✂️✨
