Weather’s doing that classic Ontario thing today—sun, heat, then “surprise” showers/thunderstorms.

If your pup (or cat) gets a bit more restless than usual when the routine changes, here are a few easy ways to keep them busy indoors:
1. Sniff work > step count: scatter-feed part of their meal or hide treats around one room.
2. Lick + chew = calm: frozen lick mat / stuffed Kong / long-lasting chew (supervised).
3. 5-minute training snack: sit/down/place, leash manners in the hallway, or “find it.”
4. Brain toys: puzzle feeders or a DIY “towel burrito” with kibble tucked inside.
5. Thunder tip: close windows, turn on a fan/white noise, and give them a cozy “safe spot.”

"Chewing isn’t “just a treat” — it’s enrichment.

A quality chew can support mental stimulation, help scrub teeth (gnawing that lasts), and give your pet a calming outlet (dogs and cats… yes, cats have teeth that need cleaning too).
We’re picky on purpose: we won’t carry a wall of big-name chews that are incredibly smelly or filled with unhealthy ingredients — because we’re focused on chews that are properly handled, safer and healthier for your pet. Hint: it’s how they’re sourced, cleaned and prepared.

What we do stock: Quality bullsticks, tendons, gullets, and more that are properly sourced, cleaned, and handled with safety in mind — so you can feel good about what you’re giving.

What you will never find on our shelves?
Rawhide or collagen chews. If we wouldn’t give it to our own pets, it’s a no.

Not in 2003 when we opened. Not in 2026. Making choices that make sense for 23 years.
