Zealous K9 Training & I have decided to collaborate our businesses in a way that benefits both of us, our dogs, and most importantly, our clients.

We are still two independently owned and operated businesses, but by working together we’re able to share resources, knowledge, experience and support while continuing to offer our own individual services.

This also means more opportunities for training, boarding, socialization, exposure work and having another experienced set of hands when needed.

Archie got to be one of the first to benefit from our new collaboration, heading out for some training and meeting Autumn in our lesson 💜 you will probably see her around with me when I come to visit.

Two businesses. Two trainers. Different strengths. One goal: better support for the dogs and people we work with.

We’re excited to see where this goes! 🐾

Pepsi has been having some ongoing tummy troubles, so during his most recent stay with us, we decided it was time for a little extra help. 🐾

We took him in for a visit with Dr. Z, who did such a wonderful job walking us through what may be going on, what to watch for, and how we can best support Pepsi moving forward.

When dogs stay with us, their care goes beyond feeding, walks, and a comfy place to sleep. We pay attention to the little changes too, because sometimes those little things are telling us something important.

Pepsi was such a good boy for his visit, and we’re grateful to have a clearer plan to help get that tummy feeling better. ❤️

Just a quick update from Canine Blueprint!

Going forward, Jenna will be your main point of contact for all bookings, scheduling, and questions.

For private lessons and boarding, you can also book directly through the Canine Blueprint website using our online booking system.

We’re continuing to offer lessons and boarding and are looking forward to keeping things running smoothly as we head into the fall.

Sometimes the biggest win in dog training is nothing happening.

We showed up and could hear Momo before we even saw her. Barking, reacting, already letting the world know she was there.

And then we got to work.

We focused on movement, engagement, clear communication and giving her something productive to do instead of getting stuck in the environment.

When it was time to leave?

Not a peep. 🙌

That’s the kind of progress we care about at Canine Blueprint. Not forcing a dog to “behave.” Not expecting perfection. Teaching them how to move through situations that used to overwhelm them with a little more confidence and a lot more clarity.

Small moments like this are actually really big moments. 🐾

Calm dogs. Clear communication. Real-life results.

Thank you once again to Dr. Z for once of the most peaceful goodbyes we have ever gotten to have ❤️‍🩹 rest over the rainbow bridge now koda.

While Eric is away working on site, things are still running here at Canine Blueprint. Autumn is helping us out and is available to assist with our other services, including pre-booked walks and lessons.

A quick Canine Blueprint update 🐾

Just a reminder that Canine Blueprint will be closed August 14th as we say goodbye to one of our dogs. ❤️‍🩹

We’ll be taking the day away from lessons, walks and regular business so we can be together as a family and give them the peaceful goodbye they deserve.

Eric is also officially off-site starting today for his new job and will have no cell service, so he won’t be available by phone or message.

Boarding is still available and will continue as usual.

If you have lessons or walks that have already been pre-booked, please text 587-986-3189 to arrange or confirm them.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, kindness and understanding while we navigate a few big changes and a very difficult goodbye. ❤️

The Public Access Assessment is an optional evaluation in Alberta that grants you protection under the Service Dog Act of Alberta…you can go ahead and not take the assessment and call your dog a service dog…but we’re gonna practice for it anyways and become Qualified teams so that when the time comes that we are asked for identification…we are granted access and have our rights protected under provincial legislation. But you know…you do you.
