🦷🐶 Puppy Teeth: Sometimes They Need a Little Extra Help! 🐾

Miss Rosa came in for her spay, and while she was with us, we got a good look at her pearly whites! 💗 We spotted some retained baby teeth that needed a little extra attention.

🐾 Did you know? Puppies typically start losing their baby teeth around 3–4 months of age, with their adult teeth usually coming in by 6–7 months.

Sometimes, those baby teeth don’t fall out on their own! Retained baby teeth can cause overcrowding, trap food and bacteria, and lead to dental problems down the road.

🩺 That’s why checking your puppy’s mouth during their regular vet visits is so important! Catching retained teeth early can help keep their adult teeth healthy for years to come. 🦷✨

Give that puppy smile a little extra love! 💕🐶

🦃 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips! 🍁🐾

Thanksgiving is full of delicious food and fun but some holiday traditions can pose risks for our furry friends. Here are a few tips to help keep your pets happy and healthy this weekend:

🚫 Skip the table scraps: Turkey bones, gravy, onions, garlic, cranberry sauce, and fatty foods can cause serious tummy troubles (or worse) for pets.

🍗 Keep the feast out of reach: Pets are pros at sneaking snacks! Make sure leftovers and garbage are secure.

🍫 Watch out for sweets: Chocolate, xylitol (found in sugar-free treats), and raisins are toxic to dogs and cats.

🕯️ Decor with care: Candles, floral centerpieces, and decorative corn can be tempting (and dangerous) chew toys.

🦴 Safe treats instead: Offer your pet their own special holiday chew or a little plain pumpkin so they can join the celebration safely.

Let’s make it a holiday full of gratitude, not a trip to the vet! 💛🐶🐱

When the excitement hits, Pickles decides the appropriate way to show her excitement was to scoot herself across the floor like the absolute clown she is!🤣🐾

Just pure Pickles. 🐶💗

10/10 entertainment. 11/10 scooting skills. 😂🐾

🌯🐰💚 BUNNY BURRITOS! 💚🐰🌯

There’s nothing quite like a cozy bunny burrito! 🥰 After surgical procedures, our rabbit patients get extra-special TLC while they wake up from anesthesia. Wrapping them snugly in a soft towel or blanket helps keep them warm, secure, and comfortable during recovery. 🐇💕

🐰 Did you know? Rabbits are more sensitive to anesthesia than cats and dogs and can require a little extra monitoring and support while waking up. Their recovery period is especially important, which is why our team takes extra care to keep them warm, comfortable, and closely monitored until they’re fully awake. 🩺💚

Because every bunny deserves to wake up feeling like a cozy little burrito! 🌯🐰✨
