Why are there bone fragments in our raw diets, and is a vitamin and mineral pack added?

Bone fragments are found in Healthy Paws raw food diets.

Because Healthy Paws does not include a vitamin and mineral pack, raw bones provide essential minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium, which are crucial for bone health and metabolic function.

When left uncooked within the raw mix, the ground bone retains moisture and cartilage, making the fragments pliable and easier for dogs to digest and absorb.

Our Small Breed Diets have the bone double-ground compared to the 8lb, 16lb, and 24lb formats. These diets are designed for dogs under 20lbs and are available in 12 different proteins.
