We are so incredibly lucky to have such patient and good mannered dogs in our family ❤️
Eddie has been spending a lot of time up in the dogs area because it has been so hot, and he isn’t fully integrated with the barn crew.
He adores Penny, and she loves him.
Whenever he is out grazing, she is laying nearby and jumps up at the slightest sound - just like this video. She takes EddieSitting very seriously.
Where one goes, so does the other.
Penny spotted me and came zooming up to the deck to say hi and of course Eddie was on her heels. Penny is part boxer and has the big boxer smile and whole body wiggles when happy.
Penny joined the family when she was around 10 weeks old. She suffered a badly broken front leg that was not treated… she was left for 10-14 days to hobble around on a broken leg with no meds. We were told she had just hurt it and it was just a sprain….
We took her for x rays right away and saw the fracture that had started to heal it had been left so long.
Her one front leg did heal a bit crooked but you can hardly tell, and she gets along amazingly.
We don’t know exactly what breeds she is, but there is certainly boxer in there.
She is the kindest soul and just as happy as can be.
Eddie couldn’t have asked for a better babysitter 🤗
