Important Grooming Update 🐾
I have officially been scheduled for ankle surgery on October 21st.
I have contacted everyone with appointments scheduled between October 21st and 30th.
For those booked in November, please give me a few days to work through my schedule. I will be reaching out to everyone personally, as I anticipate having to cancel most of November as well.
As for when I'll be returning to grooming, I simply don't have an answer yet. I will need to give myself a few weeks after surgery to see how I'm healing and what my limitations will be. Once I'm comfortable accepting appointments again, I will post an update here.
Even when I do return, I anticipate having to limit the size of dogs I can groom, as well as dogs that require more physical handling, for quite some time. My ankle needs to be able to handle the demands of grooming safely.
I truly appreciate everyone's patience and understanding through all of this. This certainly isn't something I wanted to happen, and as a small business owner, having to step away from my livelihood for an extended period is incredibly difficult, both personally and financially.
But at the end of the day, I have to put my health first so I can continue doing what I love for many years to come. Your dogs deserve a groomer who is physically capable of giving them the care they need, and I owe it to myself to heal properly rather than rush back before I'm ready.
