Running a small business means you pour your whole heart into what you do. And lately, that’s been tested a bit.
There’s been a situation shared online about our salon, and while I won’t get into details out of respect for everyone involved, I do want to be clear about one thing:

At Pawsitive Vibez, the dogs always come first. Always.

Grooming, especially senior dogs isn’t just about making them look cute. It can come with real risks. Thin skin, matting, mobility issues, pain… these are things we take seriously every single day. Sometimes that means making hard calls that aren’t easy for anyone.
We don’t cut corners, and we don’t ignore things that could affect a dog’s wellbeing. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it’s misunderstood.
I know seeing negative posts can be concerning. All I can say is this: the clients who know us, know how deeply we care, how gently we handle their pets, and how much love goes into this space.
If you’ve trusted us with your dog, thank you. Truly. Your support means everything, especially right now ❤️

After one of the hardest seasons of my life, Pawsitive Vibez Pet Grooming has been nominated on a national level for Small Business of the Year 2025 at the CanadianSME National Business Awards.

This business was built through grief, growth, tears, and an unbelievable amount of love for animals, for our community, and for doing things the right way even when it’s hard.

I’m so proud. I’m so grateful. And I’m not done yet. 🩷💚
