During her biomedical training sessions, Niña has begun her first practices for kidney and reproductive system ultrasounds!
What she needs to learn with the help of positive reinforcement:
👩⚕️ Be comfortable with people who are not part of her everyday routine.
Ex.: a veterinarian, veterinary technician or a different trainer.
🩺 Be comfortable with handling and having objects placed in contact with her.
Ex.: For this training, this involves a hand and the ultrasound probe.
⏱️ Maintain the requested position for an undetermined period of time.
While lying on her stomach, she is already showing great potential for obtaining clear images of her kidneys. As for her reproductive system, the lying-on-her-back position still requires a little more practice. However, she is showing an excellent ability to learn and great potential to progress quickly.
