If you've ever had to syringe feed a rabbit, here's a little how-to!

Rabbits are what are commonly called "hind-gut fermenters" -- this means they have a single chambered stomach, and they digest fibrous plant material in their large intestine and cecum. This also means they must eat constantly to keep their GI tract moving.
Unfortunately, when rabbits get sick or injured, they frequently stop eating, which means that they need to get syringe fed until whatever caused the inappetance is resolved to avoid any complications from GI stasis.

(And, because I didn't explain it in the video, Critical Care is a dietary supplement meant to be used as a syringe fed diet that will provide essential nutrition and keep the gut healthy and happy)

Do you have a rabbit that isn’t feeling well and needs some bun-icillin? Maybe they went too hard at hare-obics and are now feeling sore? Or maybe you just need to make sure they don’t take the command to “be fruitful and multiply” too seriously?

Fortunately, we have two doctors who can see rabbits for everything from routine health exams and spays/neuters, to illness and injuries. Both Dr Quanstrom and Dr Graveling are our resident rabbit enthusiasts who “carrot” lot and can provide treatments that are hop-timized for your rabbit’s unique needs.

Veterinary technicians wear a lot of different hats and do a lot of different jobs. We are anesthesia techs, dental hygienists, xray techs, venipuncturists, grief counselors, lab techs, surgical assistants and more.

But the most important job, at least according to Bud, is "dog pillow" ❤️

I would have said that monitoring his recovery from sedation was more important, but I guess I will defer to Bud as the expert 🥰
